hey hey ladies! Hope everyone is doing well. Finally getting close to baby day! We are scheduled for an induction on the 24th and I have an induction massage scheduled for Monday to hopefully help labor progress naturally. We see my dr again next week and I will definitely ask about membranes being swept too. Hopefully packing my hospital bag tonight and tomorrow. What suggestions do you ladies have to help induce naturally and to pack in the hospital bag?

I packed super loose clothing..I like the sleep comfy line from target
towels, body wash
flip flops & slippers, 2 pairs of fuzzy socks
Hair tie, chapstick, shamp/cond, hair product, deodorant
2 outfits for baby, blanket (we're getting a cold front here in FL)
Pillows, blankets
Important documents
Had my bf pack his switch and headphones to keep himself occupied in the down time lol
Snacks and an extra bag for all the extra stuff they send you home with
So I am pretty sure I overpacked... but with the COVID restrictions and stress I decided I would just focus on making myself as comfortable as possible.
For me:
- loose, comfy PJ'S
- warm socks/slippers
- nursing bras/tops
- flip flops for showering
- going home clothes (which is just maternity leggings and a sweatshirt)
- toiletries: toothbrush/paste, shampoo/conditioner, hairbrush, hair ties, glasses (I wear contacts), deodorant, etc.
For baby:
- two outfits (one newborn size and one 0-3 month)
- baby blanket
- baby winter hat
( my hospital provides a lot of stuff for baby so I don't need a lot for her)
Comfort/food/misc:
- blanket
- my own pillow
- a galaxy light (random, I know)
- Baby book (for foot prints!)
- Bluetooth speaker
- earbuds
- extra long phone charger
- snacks: nuts, dried fruit, chicken broth (this was suggested by a L/D nurse friend), gatorade
My husband packed himself a bag. He is a grown adult so I am trusting he knows what he needs lol.
