Fevers during first trimester?

Hi all, looking for support! I'm 7 weeks and have been extremely anxious. I haven't had an ultra sound yet but many positive tests and constant indigestion and nausea. This past weekend I have had temperature spikes up to 100 and than 99 and now back to 98. The doctors didn't seem worried but I feel very worried, has this happened to anyone else in there first trimester?

Tested negative for covid and have no other symptoms.

If your doctors not worried you shouldn’t be either. Of you don’t trust your doctor you should find one you do.

@brooke7007 It sounds like maybe a mild cold and maybe hormones are making your body fight harder? But I would definitely try to relax if your doctors aren’t worried unless it goes much more above that.

Side note. Those who are telling you what thread to put this on, are not admin and it is just their opinion as to where people should post and they tend to get lost in those long threads so I’m glad you posted here in my opinion. Keep us posted!

@chellelin-34 while we’re not admins, if you bothered to read the READ THIS FIRST thread, and spent more than 5 minutes here, you would see how these boards are run here on TB. This is not baby center. Things here are organized for a reason. When people post one offs, they get a couple responses and clutter the board, making more important threads (like when someone looses a baby) harder to find. It’s common courtesy, that when you join a community, you see how things work in that community and don’t just barge in and say THIS IS ALL ABOUT ME!!! I mean, you wouldn’t do that in a real life group, right? This community (TB in general) is all about support, and has some of the greatest people I’ve ever met. If you haven’t already, consider introducing yourself intro thread and actually get to know us and how things are run. You will find a very welcoming and supportive community.

ETA- I see that you have already Intro’ed, and have since spent your time coming at me about how this community works. In the month that you’ve been here I don’t see that you’ve actually offered any support yourself, only ridiculed the rules of this community…. Such a fun person we have here.

I’m not going to apologize for directing someone to the right place. This community has been amazing, and like @paytonpedro said, I’ve made some wonderful relationships here. It’s not rude to let someone know we have a thread for these kinds of posts. Nobody is trying to be an admin. You’ll just have better luck getting the answers and support you’re looking for if you put it in the right place.

Also, none of us are doctors. I’ve not going to expect a bunch of internet strangers to solve my health related issue, with zero other context.

@paytonpedro First, it is not true that I haven’t been offering up helpful comments to others. In fact it’s been the one-offs that I go to read and help because some of the group ones are overwhelming with hundreds of posts. But I’m Seeing them all being told their comments are “cluttering the board.” That’s what bothers me and that’s how it’s coming off. This particular post @and_peggy may have just been helping to guide her to more help with this. But that’s not been what I’ve seen on others. No need to attack me.

@chellelin-34 okay well I’m not here to start drama. So please know it’s none of our intentions to make anyone feel unwelcome. We hope to cultivate friendships and people we can share this special time with. I’ll try to use better words to make people feel more welcome in the future. ☺️

Side note - also, id just like to point out that the OP has not returned which is a common theme with a lot of these types of posts. This is where the frustration happens for some of us - why create a post and then never return for an update?

At any rate, it’s always best to consult a dr for things of this nature. None of us here want to diagnose medical problems.

@chellelin-34 If you read the Read This First thread, which is acknowledged by TB admins hence why it’s pinned as an announcement and stays at the top, we have board organization here- which was clearly outlined when you joined here. You’ve been going to posts telling other users that they can post wherever whenever which is just not how The Bump works. Go take a jog through any other bmb and take a look at their rules and how they operate. It’s all the same. It’s not just me being a jerk. There are plenty of other message boards on the internet that allow any kind of posting at anytime, and this isn’t one of them. Have you ever googled and wound up on one of them, that has a bunch of answers and no resolution on these special snowflake posts? I have and it’s thoroughly annoying. TB is not like this. Sure we’ll have drive by’s but the community here is organized and supportive from every angle. Instead of telling other users to just do whatever they want, and break our board rules, why don’t you come up with suggestions that we could all agree upon to make everyone happy? I’ve been on TB for a long time and I’ve honestly never met someone who I couldn’t get along with! So I hope that, maybe in the Weekly Randoms or in the read this first thread, that you would join in the conversation and give us something constructive to work with.
