R/R: It's been raining here for the past week and the ground has gotten so saturated that my neighbor's fence fell down. And of course it's the side of the fence that borders our backyard so it's basically half our back fence that has collapsed. We've blocked it off with a picnic table for now but I'm worried that my dogs will get out if they don't fix it quickly. Rave: my job has approved combat pay for all RNs again so starting yesterday we get it on top of our normal salary!

R/R: I have been pleasantly surprised to not have noticed any symptoms from the progesterone. Maybe it's just too early? I'm not sure what I expected, but nothing is nice. Otherwise just kind of in the boring phase. The one good thing about my disaster last month is I have no desire to test early.ย
Winter has decided to show up here finally and I was freezing this morning! Trying to convince myself to go on a walk at lunchtime since the sun is shining at least.ย
CS/Q: Nope
@shortstack930 Hoping your neighbors fix that fence quickly! Also yay for the additional pay. That's always nice!
@abjm0325 Glad you're not noticing any symptoms. Hopefully it stays that way!

R/R: We had some really good news this morning, which was a great way to start a Monday. A little rant is that we're supposed to be taking a trip this coming weekend and because of this cycle being abnormally long I think AF will probably be here then too. ugh lol day 1 and 2 are usually pretty miserable for me, otherwise I wouldn't care so much.
CS/Q: Nah. My temps are a mess. I'm ready for a new cycle to start lol
@abjm0325 Enjoy that sunshine and I'm glad the progesterone is going easy on you.
@annanbby Yay for great news!!

R/R: I am still in my pajamas and it is nearly dinner timeย
I am really leaning into isolation at this point. I've been playing with retirement calculations all day and just asked my best friend to send me her info so I can make projections for her, too. Apparently my answer to "How will you spend Covid isolation?" is: making seven million spreadsheets for fun. ๐ Sidenote: I am in no way employed in a financial capacity. This is purely a hobby.ย

@annanbby ugh I hate having AF on trips. Glad you had some good news today!
@Paturkey I love days like that!! Remind me--do you have covid or are you just quarantining?

@Paturkey At least that is a productive use of time (instead of, say, re-watching Great British Bake Off like I opted for during my break).
@abjm0325 It's just a side bonus that this was productive. I am very anti-hustle culture and told myself specifically that this sick time was for doing nothing, not trying to be useful. I fully endorse your Bake Off binging ๐
@shortstack930
You are definitely lucky to get that pay raise! My hospital threw it back in our faces when we mentioned hazard pay saying that dealing with pandemics was to be expected as a nurse and that we had signed up for it we chose our careers ๐.
@abjm0325
I'm glad there are no side effects yet. I know what you mean about not testing early now. I think I'm going to wait till a week after AF is due from now on just to be safe.
@annanbby
Ugh, AF and trips are never fun together. Hope you have a good time, though!
@paturkey
I hope you and your family get to feeling better soon! That is one way to pass the time ๐
@katrielle that is insane and horrible!! Thatโs why so many nurses are leaving right now!!
