WAYDTGKU: The usual suspects
R/R: It's been a doozy of a month. I had to travel for a funeral and then there was xmas and now lots of us have Covid (including me) so phew! Everyone is doing well and most of us are double or triple vaccinated so it's mostly just a cold. I saw a tweet today that was something like: "I know more people who've gotten covid in the last week than this whole pandemic" and that's totally how I feel. At least my SO and I both have it so we can continue to try to GKU.
CS/Q: Has anyone seen any sign that O gets delayed with Covid? O should be today or tomorrow but so far the signs are showing me nothing.

R/R: My husband and I have a cold, which would normally not be a big deal, but it alarms me in these pandemic times. No fever and just a bit sniffly with a sore throat. My rave is that I finally got a positive OPK, so it’s time to get extra fancy in the bedroom. I just hope DH can power through his man cold.

R/R: Just trying to enjoy break while also preparing for all the crazy that starts in the new year. On top of teaching full time and mentoring a student teacher, I am also starting an Autism Specialist Certificate program at ASU and completing my Gifted Certification online with a book study.
CS/Q: Nothing really to report. AF finally left a few days ago, so now just getting back to tracking. Not sure if we are benched this month or not. MH sucks at committing to this. Lol.
@Paturkey one of my coworkers was TTC while isolated with Covid. She O’d on time and her husband didn’t have Covid at the time and luckily didn’t get it! 😂 But that was October of ‘20, the original strain. So who knows 🤷🏼♀️
@elle-0409 get them fancy sweatpants on girl! Lol. I also hope YH powers through the cold.
@ejoseph16 are you taking the certificate remotely from ASU? I know they have a pretty well known distance learning offering

R/R: I went to the spa yesterday evening with my SIL and it was so awesome. I got a special facial that included dermaplaning, My skin feels so pure now! We arrived home and asked our DHs if we looked 10 years younger. Lol. Incidentally, my esthetician was saying that she and the one who was doing my SILs facial "work on each other" and I swear, the lady looked like she was 35, but was actually 52. Man I hope I look that young when I'm in my 50's. I guess more facials in my future! HEHEHE. MH will love that. :P
In other news, we're in full real estate search mode as we decided to move in the next month; we're renters (cause you can't buy a house in California) so it should be pretty easy to make the move; aside from the annoying part that is packing/moving/unpacking. I'm really excited to be honest since I'm over living in SF. We've been there for 2 years, so it's time to move. We're still staying in the general vicinity, but moving somewhere where we can have a yard and more square footage.

How exciting about moving! Good luck with the hunt! I owned a house in the outer Bay Area back in the day and I'd be happy to discuss things over PM if it would be helpful. My vegetable garden was spectacular, if I do say so myself 😂
@ejoseph16 funny indeed! I'm in Phoenix now, so seeing signs for ASU everywhere we drive. Haha. Also, side note, what a weirdly laid out city. It basically takes 20 min to get everywhere. Lol.

@Paturkey covid solidarity fistbump. Screw 2021. I hope you guys recover soon. I'm having the same experience so far, feels like a bad cold, and SO MANY more people are testing positive in the last couple weeks. Did you have a fever at all? I think fevers can affect O but not sure of covid in general.
@elle-0409 not to be alarmist, but I definitely recommend getting tested if you can, omicron presents more like a cold. I felt like I had a bad cold with runny nose really ramping up Saturday night, got tested Sunday, got a negative rapid, and then a positive PCR today. If testing is anything like it is here though it'll be tough to get an appointment.
@ejoseph16 sounds like you have a lot on your plate! I hope all goes well with the studies.
@acleverusername sounds like a super relaxing time! Good to be relaxed going into a move, since that's the opposite of relaxing lol.

R/R: my covid test was positive, so I had to cancel the IUI. might still try naturally depending on when O happens and if my husband tests positive or not.
