@returning_bump_member have you looked on Poshmark? I’ve bought a couple things from there and you can get a great discount on it, although it is mostly used, everything I’ve gotten is in excellent condition.

How are you feeling?: nauseous as heck. Also super fatigued. Breasts are very tender and we’ve all got a cold this week- the joys of having a kindergartener! I’m still feeling very optimistic!
Rants/Raves: we’re thinking of telling our children for Christmas which would mean our entire family would find out as well because a 3 & 5yo can’t keep a secret. I just have to figure out how I want to tell them! I want to do something cute! Any suggestions?

GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? Somewhere warmer but realistically (and unrealistically), I’d love to live on my own private island. Fully self sufficient, do homesteading. That would be my ideal.

How are you feeling?: I am having serious anxiety. And @returning_bump_member, my goodness, the pregnancy constipation is so real!
Rants/Raves: Rave: After a hellish few weeks with crazy work deadlines, hand foot mouth disease for my littles, and a sick husband, we are finally back on track and headed into vacation, woohoo! Rant: I’m hosting Christmas for my family, which is a 5 day long affair starting on Wednesday. I’m tired just thinking about it.
Questions: Anyone else start with the weird pregnancy dreams yet? Last night in my sleep my husband traded me in for a 19 year old model 😂
GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? I am the luckiest because I live in the place I love most. People save all year to come vacation in my town, and I get to live here every day!

How are you feeling?: fairly normal, sense of smell is really the only thing - but it's like almost puke inducing depending on what i'm smelling. weirdly bloat isn't bad, i def didn't feel sick or super tired until like 7-8 weeks with my first pregnancy. so just biding my time here.
Rants/Raves: 4 day work week! but also still have all of the christmas wrapping and a few gifts to nab.

I don't mind where I live. I do love the beach though and warm weather so I would like to move to the Carolinas near the beach.
@returning_bump_member @paytonpedro I second poshmark. I bought a few maternity things on there and the quality is great & so much cheaper than buying in a store.
@paytonpedro I'm taking a prenatal by pink stork. Not too big or chunky. But I do have take separate DHA which is annoying.
@maggiemadeit I feel like I am having weird pregnancy dreams because when I first wake up I usually think "what a weird dream" but I don't actually remember any of the ones I've had lol.

How are you feeling?: So nauseous. It is at the point where I'm only eating basic plain foods, and I've cut coffee completely. Also really anxious about the appointment tomorrow even though my betas came back good.
Rants/Raves: We have a jampacked schedule over the course of the next two weeks and I'm so over it already. All I want to do is sleep and rest.
Questions: Is anyone else having a really hard time focusing on work? My last working day this year is Dec 23rd and I can't seem to motivate myself to get much done despite knowing I need to get a lot done before then.
GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? I'd move somewhere warmer but not too warm, where I could live a more laid back lifestyle.

@maggiemadeit I'm dying to know where on the cape you are! (But understand if you don't want to share- no pressure) My grandparents lived in Harwich for over 20+ years. My fam continues to do a mid-cape vacation week most summers

How are you feeling?: fairly normal, which I'm grateful for (especially for the holidays) but then again I start worrying about if my hCGs are where they should be.
Rants/Raves: it's been 10 days since I got my BFP, and I am still keeping the big secret from my husband! I'm honestly surprised I made it this far. The plan is for DS to open a shirt on Christmas that says "Big Bro." I wanted to make the big reveal really special.

GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? Somewhere where winters are mild. Minnesota winters are miserable and last forever.

Upcoming Appointments: 1st ultrasound 1/7, but no OB appointments scheduled yet, which is odd. I'm hoping it's because my OB is on vacation and not that they're pessimistically waiting until my ultrasound confirms viability.
How are you feeling?: already having intermittent nausea, along with night sweats and frequent urination. I don't usually have signs until 6 weeks so it makes me wonder if I'm having a boy this time or if this kiddo just wants to be dramatic
Rants/Raves: DD1 (2) got sent home from daycare with super mild ocular discharge - I totally get where they're coming from, but it's so difficult and anxiety-inducing to scramble to adjust my work schedule last minute. I really hope she gets better so she can have some Christmas fun with her best buddies at school.
GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? I love where I live (Maine), but the super cold winters can get tedious. I'd happily live here from May-October and spend the rest of the year somewhere tropical.

Rants/Raves: There was a kid who tested positive in my son’s class today, so now we are missing Christmas 😫. We missed Thanksgiving due to a positive in his class too. Soooooo over all this.

How are you feeling?: tired and high maintenance AF, giant sore boobs, not nauseous yet and quite hungry actually, bloated and already wanting maternity leggings
Rants/Raves: I want to cancel seeing friends bc of omicron, and I know they will be annoyed, but I don’t want to tell them it’s because I’m finally pregnant after 3 years of trying and fertility treatments so it’s not with the risk, so having fights with them in my head instead

GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? Unpopular opinion because people tend to hate Illinois, but I’d stay put right here. My whole family is here. I can’t be without them! So unless they all relocate with me, I’m staying put!

Upcoming Appointments: The 28th for 8 week ultrasound. Already had one at 6w2d to verify, saw heartbeat, and will be having regular appointments (every 2 weeks) since I'm high risk (preeclampsia 2x and had a 23 weeker last time).
How are you feeling?: Good! Eating is a challenge, but the nausea hasn't been as bad since I started taking a B6 supplement. I had one really bad day with lots of dry heaving and I couldn't even keep water down. Not sure what triggered that, maybe my Crohn's or maybe something I ate...but I've been fine since. Thank God!
Rants/Raves: Christmas. Family and presents to wrap, it's alway an ordeal. My sister's birthday is the first week in January so we'll do a little celebration for her on the 26th before she flies back to her state.
Questions:
GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? That's a hard question! I love the idea of New Zealand, Scotland, or Vancouver, but I also want sunshine? And I know sun is limited in those regions. But those are probably my top three contenders because of their health care/parental leave like @daffodil_shoe said...huge draw for me. And because they are beautiful!

How are you feeling?: so tired, cringing at the thought of morning sickness kicking in soon. Very thirsty and very hungry all the time. Emotionally - anxious for that first doc visit to be sure all is ok.
Rants/Raves: Week off off work for the holidays! Won’t exactly be restful (3yo boy and 1yo girl) but at least I don’t have to put on hard pants!

GTKY- If you could move anywhere, where would it be and why? Happy where we are in the PNW with lots of family around, but it would be nice to live somewhere sunny and warm everyday like Santa Barbara.
