I am very thankful for my partner right now. He has made this whole carrier results nightmare feel so much more manageable. He has been constantly telling me that no matter what it isn’t my fault and that I didn’t choose my genetics. He has been the only person (IRL) who hasn’t said something absolutely horrible or condescending and I cannot imagine having to do this with anyone else.
I’m thankful to have my appetite back and to be eating ALL the foods! I’m a total foodie, so the first trimester was rough. FINALLY feeling like me again!
Im also thankful for the flutters I felt in my tummy very early this morning. Almost like tiny bubbles popping. I love this baby girl so much already 🥰
@marionberry19 I'm sorry you're going through that but definitely helps to have that support system at home. Hoping you get good news!
I am thankful that I've been able to eat dinner 2 days in a row now without feeling like absolute crap. Still feel exhausted but at least haven't felt like I'm about to throw up just by looking at food.

@marionberry19 continuing to think of you and glad you have a wonderful support system throughout this ordeal.
Yesterday, I was shocked to win the CFO's Award of Excellence for this year! It was during a company-wide broadcast and my boss gave a very nice tribute regarding my accomplishments this year in front of thousands. I work my @$$ off but was not expecting it! As a rare woman in finance, I'm trying not to think it's just because my boss wants to butter me up to convince me to return from maternity leave next year and more so all that I was able to achieve this year. They commissioned an art piece/trophy for me and everything to commemorate.
Thankful that I got my booster and didn't feel too bad. And also that I think I might be finally coming out of a two month cloud of nausea (knock on wood)!
I’ll join in on being grateful for the booster! I had wanted to wait a little longer but the omicron news made me decide to just go ahead and get it last week. Like you all I had pretty minimal symptoms and I feel much better about visiting family for the holidays.
I’m also thankful my NIPT results came back and everything looked good!
