Hair highlights/nail color/pedicures/manicures - safety during the first trimester!

FTM, starting with my 13w & wanted to know your take on getting highlights not full root hair color but just the ends during the firs trimester? 
The same question I have for nail color/pedicures etc. I know about the 7free for the nail color but also read somewhere that the pedicure massage etc can trigger contractions. So am hesitant to get all this done. Thank you!!

    STM here, you should be fine.
    There is a particular spot on the heel that’s a pressure point that can help bring on labor, but I would think your person would know where it is and can avoid it.

    Similar to the idea that having sex can bring on labor, it doesn’t do so until your body is ready. So if you have an uncomplicated, healthy pregnancy there is no reason to avoid your normal activity. Regarding getting your hair done etc.. salon products are generally safe for use. You will just want to avoid overdoing it with bleach due to the ammonia. However, that can be said for anyone. Just make sure your salon is well ventilated and  you should be fine.
