I’m tired of being pregnant. Im feeling SO disconnected from this pregnancy and it’s making me feel guilty and and confused and angry. We can’t think of or agree on a name which I know is silly in the scheme of things but it doesn’t help. I want to buy things for baby or begin to plan the nursery but I can’t bc we are in the middle of trying to declutter and not gather a bunch of stuff and in this house, there is not an extra room for a nursery(which is one of the main reasons we’re moving/long overdue) so there’s nowhere to put anything if I DID buy stuff and no actual room to plan anything out in. House hunting is NOT going well at all. Every single thing we looked at in just the last FOUR days is gone. I don’t know how we are going to find something and our realtor doesn’t want us to list until we are 100% ready bc she thinks we also will go under contract immediately. I feel like we are either going to be stuck here or be stuck with nowhere to go and it’s just piling on top of everything else. I’m thankful I’m feeling better but now I’m just starting to feel like a turtle flipped upside down on its shell every time I get up or get out bed or out of the car and I’m not even that big yet. And I’m REALLY struggling with the fact that this whole thing has completely interrupted my weight loss journey (I just had bariatric surgery in February and was basically right in the middle of the the sweet spot of the first year of the journey and then BOOM. This.). Surgeons will tell you not to get pregnant for at least a year-18 months after the surgery and I feel like I’ve screwed up my chances of my tool working to my best advantage. It’s not that I have gained a ton of weight yet, but after working SO hard and going through the toughest thing I’ve ever done in my life, seeing the scale move in the opposite direction and my body and clothes change in the opposite direction is a mindfuck to say the least. If you’ve even made it this far, you deserve a brownie or something. Im way more hormonal than I’ve ever been any other pregnancy(can you tell??😂) and recently I just stay annoyed with everything and everyone and I hate it bc it’s like I can’t help it. How’s that for a Monday Bitchfest. 🤣🤦🏼♀️
@MrsLaLaBug my “love it”, is not that I love the content of your post, but it’s a heart for you. That all sounds really tough. I do think your realtor is wise is recommending you don’t list until you find somewhere else to go. Your house will likely sell quickly, and you don’t want to be stranded. The right place will come along! I understand it’s really tough to not feel connected to your baby and purchasing things and imagining them in your space and little outfits makes me feel closer to my baby too, but all baby needs in the first 4-6 months is a safe place to sleep, some diapers, milk, a few pieces of clothing and LOVE. You can do that in your current space if needs must! And as it’s not your first, you probably have all the essentials at your fingertips. Give yourself some grace and some time. We are in a similar boat with nursery planning. I’m currently sitting in the nursery because it’s my office. Our new office building doesn’t open until mid Feb so there will be no moving this stuff out and bringing in baby stuff til then! Maybe try a prenatal yoga class to connect with baby or get a (pregnancy safe) massage? Those can help you connect too and make you feel a little more agile
We don’t even know gender yet so have given names 0 thought. There is still PLENTY of time for that! Remember there’s about 5 months left, give or take.
I can’t comment from any experience with the weight loss journey or surgery. And I know deep down you know this because you’re already a mama, but you’re building a life that will give you so much more pleasure than anything the scale will tell you. Focus on being healthy and eating nutritionally and you can hone in on weight loss after baby is born Hang in there. You got this, Momma. And we’re all here for you!!
Today’s pregnancy vent: there are places to get good coffee and there are places to get good breakfast sandwiches but there are no places where you can get both at the same place

@tacosandtums I agree. If Dunkin served CFA’s chicken biscuit or vice versa the world would be complete. They closed our Dunkin after Ida and it’s not been reopened yet, but I did like their coffee best AND it was right across from CFA 😂😂
@MrsLaLaBug I am the worst at advice but just want to say I’m sorry there’s so much going on. Pregnancy is so tough accepting the body changes anyway on top of everything else you described. Hope the house hunt turns around for you soon and everything else gets better ❤️
My Monday BF is stupid but DH took the little thing (wtf is the word? The usb thing you put in the slot of your laptop that connects to your wireless mouse) off my laptop yesterday while working and used my mouse on his computer. Ok fine except he forgot it in his laptop even though I told him to put it back, so guess who’s mouse-less today 😐 I hate the touchpad so much, especially since I’m currently trying to build this complex process map and shapes are sliding all over the place lol
Less of a bitch fest and more of a wtf. I ordered groceries from Wegmans on Instacart today (yall grocery deliveries are life changing lol). Anyway, I ordered a back of individual yogurt for kids, and a tub of Siggi’s yogurt for myself. Somehow they ended up bringing me 2 orders of the kids yogurt and three giant tubs of Fage yogurt??? Like wtf am I gonna do with all this? But I was still somehow only charged for what I ordered lol so I guess I’ll just be eating lots of yogurt
