@LJMoon6 I can't decide if I want to get a few pieces. I feel like I'm going to jinx myself if I buy any maternity clothes before I'm out of 1st tri!

@LJMoon6 You should! They started that sale on Saturday and I ordered a bunch of maternity stuff. Unfortunately they didn't have much warmer weather selection right now but I got some cute PJs and shirts and lounge shorts. Honestly I hate maternity jeans, they always fall down and I'm constantly pulling them up. And they're also giving out Old Navy bucks which gets you $10 off every $25 you spend, so now I'll probably have to order more stuff from them next week lol

@inthewoods23 I know. I feel the same way... But I REALLY need some new pants lol. My current pants are so worn out, I'm just waiting for them to pop a hole. Plus, the earlier you start wearing maternity clothes, the more you get out of your money, or at least that's what I tell myself lol.
@stardustskies I should have shopped over the weekend because almost everything is sold out of the size I need! I almost exclusively live in jeans lol. But I've only ever tried the full panel maternity jeans. I've never had a problem with them falling down.

@LJMoon6 haha! Well I did get a lot of reassurance today with my progesterone results so maybe getting some maternity stuff will make it even more real. 102! My progesterone supplementation is definitely working

Totally failed at hiding my pregnancy from my family at Thanksgiving. I had to turn down wine, and then my stepmom decided to serve swordfish of all things the night before Turkey Day which I had to turn down too. We also took DD to the park and I had to ask my stepmom to do the merry go round with her (because I was too nauseated/dizzy). So needless to say, I felt like they knew, so we announced and it turns out they definitely did know lol. Oh well, I swore them to secrecy and hopefully everything will be ok.

I've already got some maternity trousers and they're so comfortable, needed new ones for work and thought there's no point if I'm gonna outgrow them and have to buy a new pair soon enough!

@inthewoods23 Shit, 102!? That's crazy high! Are you doing injections or suppositories? My RE has only tested mine once so far and it came back as >40. So I'll take it. I'm anxious to be done with the suppositories though. They're such a pain! I'm glad you're feeling more confident. Your weekly checks have to be so reassuring.
@sunshineandlemons Oh yum! My favorite holiday drink is to put peppermint mocha in my coffee. I'm sad I'm missing it this year!
@creativesoul63 Oh bummer at your family finding out. I'm sure it's no big deal. It was actually really easy to hide ours at thanksgiving. Only my mom asked by gesturing a thumbs up or down and I just shook my head. Hopefully she wont be too mad at me for lying!
@rosegoldg These are my exact thoughts on maternity pants. Plus, then I wont be so uncomfortable with all the bloat lol.

@LJMoon6 I'm taking 200mg capsules twice a day orally. I seriously wonder if he's going to have me cut back soon. I know he wants it over 50.

I'm also over here like... Isn't progesterone part of what causes pregnancy symptoms so am I incredibly lucky to have symptoms of minimal intensity right now with such a high progesterone level? 🤔

@inthewoods23 - Yes, you are very lucky!! I was super sick last time when I was doing PIO. Once PIO stopped my all day sickness (F the term morning sickness) got much better!

I am really struggling with the progesterone side effects right now. Last round I dont remember it being so bad but I am nauseous all the time and epically exhausted this time around. Only two more weeks from tomorrow till I'm done with them and i am counting down the days!

@sunshineandlemons we have a shop that makes peppermint ice cream with chocolate chocolate chip cookie sandwhiches starting today.... guess where i might be stopping on the way home!

One of our sales managers visiting our office stops and says "hey congratulations!" and I was so confused like "for what?" not knowing what she was talking about. She was referring to me being almost done training one of our distributors who are part of a new program we have. The other sales person with her was like "for a second I thought you were congratulating her on a pregnancy".

Oh if only they knew 😂. If all goes well they'll know in about a month to month and a half.

@inthewoods23 that is too funny! I would have immediately thought they were congratulating me on the pregnancy even if I knew they didn’t know lol. Yay for hopefully announcing soon though, I saw your other post on another thread about your numbers looking good!

Our elf on the shelf finally came today and I am not looking forward to the inevitable “oh crap we forgot to move the elf” moments lol. It is fun to see how excited they get over where he is and how they talk to him. It makes me sad that I only have a few good years left before DD starts questioning santa but also glad that she will have a new baby sibling to help keep the magic alive. Even if she is just pretending lol.

Now that we saw the heartbeat I'm so dragging out the maternity clothes when I'm in the basement digging up the Christmas decorations. 😅 I need clothes that fit, my postpartum bod mixed with first trimester bloat is not ideal. I swear I look 5 months pregnant.

@bearsandbeets7 I mean it did kind come to mind that if someone were to congratulate me it would be on the pregnancy but since nobody knows I was confused as to what she could possibly be congratulating me for lol. I think my sister started elf on the shelf this year with my niece. I know I'm not going to have the patience or dedication to move it every single day haha.

So... I've been dealing with nausea, so I leverage crystallized ginger occasionally and try not to have an empty stomach too long. Haven't vomited.

Pretty sure my stomach was upset while I was asleep, because last night, I dreamed I threw up. 😆

Has anyone else had to dodge more bullets than they'd like with people ask how things are going on the TTC front? 😂

I am not letting work know until January but a coworker who knows my history asked about it today and obviously I don't want to spill the beans when my parents don't even know.

@inthewoods23 I actually told one of my coworkers (and fellow mom friend) the day after I got my BFP. I trust her not to tell other coworkers and she doesn’t know my friends/family so can’t accidentally spill the beans. Just felt good to tell someone and have someone to commiserate with when I’m feeling awful at work. My mom will never know that my coworker knew first 😜

@inthewoods23 I've had the same problem! Everyone knows we're going to start fertility treatment in January so people are asking what the plan is. It's so hard not to say anything!

@creativesoul63 outside DH, only 1 friend knows. But I've been talking to her for the last couple years about our IF stuff so it's only right that she found out sooner rather than later. She's super helpful with navigating pregnancy stuff since she's experienced with it and I'm not.

@moreamoozzarella I know I can't wait to be like "yep, was totally pregnant when we were having that conversation"

@moreamoozzarella Same here! We were supposed to start fertility treatments in January. I just had a financial consult beginning of November, and I got my BFP on November 10th. I figured IVF was going to be the next step, and we had some time, so I guess we weren't stressing out about anything. 🤷‍♀️

@velvetblue88 We had a similar situation. We were supposed to have our first consultation at a fertility clinic and I got my BFP a week before! Super crazy timing. We had been trying for a year so I was preparing myself for the next steps. So I was surprised that it ended up happening naturally. I had told one friend about the appt since she is TTC. I did end up telling her since she asked about my appt! Only she, my mom and hubby know at this point! Going to tell the rest of the family on Christmas.
