Monday B*tch Fest 11/29

I’m sure there’s some griping to be had about the holiday or what have you. Let’s hear it haha.

Re: Monday B*tch Fest 11/29

  • I know it’s no big deal really but I’m just so tired of doing laundry. How do my kids tiny clothes end up being so many loads?
  • Loading the player...
  • @daisy0322 we’ve come to terms with the fact that we will always be “that laundry house”.  We can’t keep up with it and now that I’m too tired to power through it after the kids go to bed it got completely out of control.  DH ended up taking pto last week just to get ahead of it.
  • @daisy0322 laundry is literally my least favorite chore. I had a good schedule going before I got pregnant and I just can't gather the motivation to get it done now.
  • @KFrob @ournextadventure we legit just have clean and dirty baskets for each person at the moment because I’ve fallen so far behind lol but everyone has clean clothes and I like to think that’s the important part... who needs closets lol
  • So we announced our pregnancy on fb last week and my friend who is further along than me but never did an announcement decided posting a picture of her pregnant belly on my thread was a great way to let everyone know 🙄 it didn’t really bug me until my mom and a bunch of my other friends started texting me about how rude it was.
  • @furmama2babymama Did she at least say congratulations before she did that? That wasn't right since it takes the focus off of you and puts in on her.

@daisy0322 I get tired then end up forgetting the clothes in the dryer. Then, I find a bunch of clothes when I go to put a load in the dryer😩
  • I’m the weird person who finds folding laundry to be somewhat relaxing. Granted I have zero children right now so I imagine that’ll change 😅

I’ve been losing it on DH lately over stupid things and I know it’s all hormone driven mood swings. My current trigger is purchasing new furniture. I’m 75% sure we’re buying stuff that is too large for the rooms. And then it’ll be a whole thing when it comes in and he’ll assure me it’s fine but it’ll bother me for the next five years until we replace it.
  • @furmama2babymama ugh yes that is kind of rude I agree. I’m sorry. Just very attention seeking. Is that unusual for her? Maybe it was just a lapse in judgment
  • @pinkkillersheep I was totally on top of Laundry until my second child started walking lol it was a game changer. 1 kid nothing is really that hard to get done it doesn’t change too much but for some reason two kids feels more like 3 or 4 kids lol (but both mine were kind of toddlers at the same time since they were pretty close in age) I’ve been told the third one isn’t as big of an adjustment as the second one by friends. I’m hoping they’re right!

PS my second son is a wild man. He’s the life of every party even if there is no party 🤣and has no fear so that *may* be a factor
  • @pinkkillersheep I was going to say the same thing, I don't mind the actual laundry part. Folding kids clothing afterwards is kind of relaxing for me. I watch a show while doing it so it goes by quicker lol. I just hate that our laundry is in the basement and I have to drag laundry bags from from the 2nd floor to the basement, unless I do laundry while hubby is home, then he gets to carry things up and down.

@furmama2babymama oof, I think I'd be super annoyed. Like that is not the time or place to announce her pregnancy. Just seems so attention-grabbing to me. Like others said, I hope she said congratulations first. When she posts a pic of her baby, you should spam her post with pics of yours lol (joking, kind of, ha)

This probably sounds stupid, but my FIL has no texting etiquette and it drives me up the wall. He sends me stupid facebook videos all day long and I really want to write back that I have no interest in them...but I just don't respond at all and then tell him I was busy with work lol. He also does random picture collages of all his grandkids (like pictures we all upload to a joint google photo album he has access to) and then sends us the collages. The worst part is the pictures he picks are all terrible, unflattering, or he'll do a collage of the kids and like cartoon characters he thinks they look like and I'm like WHY?! It's not funny, just stop.

  • @Tulips29 That made me laugh when you mentioned spamming her posts with pics.

That would get annoying getting messages all day. I guess it makes him happy to make collages.
