How are you feeling?: So tired. Nausea is getting better during the day but I’m still really sick In The evening and at night
Rants/Raves: at a local play group with the kids right now. It’s such a nice preschool prep program a near by church does once a week. Both the boys love it.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: first ultrasound yesterday and it was measuring ahead but everything looks good
How are you feeling?: nauseated, and I took unisom last night and I can’t tell if I’m normal tired or extra tired
Rants/Raves: so if this pregnancy is like the last one, I gain a solid 10 lbs in the first trimester and then have 6 weeks where I don’t gain anything second semester and people get worried. So I’m already up on my weight, and my husband is saying I should take a couple nights a week to exercise so I don’t gain too much and 😡😩😭 also he’s very supportive and it comes from a good place but the delivery just makes me sad
Questions: is anyone contemplating a second c-section? (raises hand)

How are you feeling?:like crap. However, I was able to keep down dinner yesterday and clean the house up a bit without puking.
Rants/Raves: today is my first nuggets birthday. Hard to believe 5 years ago today I welcomed a tiny (not so tiny) little dude into my life & now he’s a giant.
@Daisy0322 my grocery store last I went was still fully stocked, but I’m told that the shortages are coming. Luckily my mom has been preparing for this moment her whole life haha.
@fluteling I’m hoping for minimal intervention, so no c-section for me unless I have to. But I know I’ve seen at least one other person on the board say they want a scheduled c-section. Glad to hear you had a good US! On the exercise thing, I’ve given myself a TON of grace in this area. Trying to be satisfied with just getting a 20-30 minute walk everyday.

How are you feeling?: It’s taking me so long to get up and ready in the morning. It used to be a quick 20 minute throw clothes on and run out the door routine. Now I’m at a solid one to one and a half hour ordeal.
Rants/Raves: DH’s job is in a weird place and I’m trying not to stress about it. It’s secure, but changing in a way he isn’t happy with so I’m not sure what he’s going to do.
Questions: Does anyone else feel like a lead weight is sitting in their abdomen? I assume this is the uterus growing and the increased blood flow. Everything in there just feels so heavy. Like it’s water logged (blood logged? ew).

How are you feeling?: So much better. My nausea is mostly gone I feel like the exhaustion isn't quite as bad. I'm hoping to have a easy second trimester. I wasn't so lucky with my first.
Rants/Raves: Still have a nasty cold that my DD gave me.
@pinkkillersheep yeah especially at night or when my daughter tries to cuddle any extre pressure is just too much.
@daisy0322 my grocery store is pretty bare too but i was blaming it on thanksgiving. People celebrate for weeks here due to it being a small vacation town so people like to come here to celebrate with their families for basically nov 1 through the second week of January. Which means the grocery stores will be empty for that whole time period.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: Still waiting to find out if I can go for my NIPT bloodwork and what it's going to cost me, u/s on Dec 7th.
How are you feeling?: I'm okay. My cold is still lingering and giving me tons of sinus pressure. A little bit nauseous still.
Rants/Raves: Rant: I cannot focus on work at all. I just want to make lists for Thanksgiving prep and Xmas shopping.

@fluteling I'm starting to worry about weight gain since according to my doctor's scale I'm up 4lbs. With DD1 and DD2 I gained an appropriate amount and didn't ever get back to pregnancy weight or shape but I was okay with where I was. DD3 came in the beginning of May 2020.... I gained way more than I wanted to with COVID stress eating and being stuck at home all the time. I just started to feel like I was getting back to a good place when I got pregnant again. I'm nervous since working at home cuts out so much movement from my life. I'm trying to tell myself that in a couple of weeks I'll have more energy and can get in some workouts. Aren't DH's great when they stick their foot in their mouths....

@pinkkillersheep Sorry about DH's job. I'm super jealous you're getting in walks! I need to start to go on my lunch break. I'm also feeling stuff going on in my uterus region. I'm expecting to pop soon.
@pinkkillersheep yeah, my doctor is advising me towards a c-section because of what happened last time. So we’ll see. It’s a weird thing for me to plan. But then again, just like the weight gain, it doesn’t go how you think! Last time I tried exercise multiple times a week (until my spine went ha no thank you) and I’m lacking the motivation with a toddler running around.
@KFrob exactly! And I’m in the Midwest so getting out and about to even take a walk or something easy isn’t going to happen with the cold. Oof. Oh well, I’ll figure it out as I go.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: Graduated from my RE on Friday and I could cry. So bittersweet. Had my first OB appointment yesterday, everything is looking good. MFM appointment in 2 weeks.
How are you feeling?: Some days I feel great and others I'm so tired I can barely make it through putting kids to bed. Other than that, nothing else.
Rants/Raves: Rant/Rave all in 1 - I called to schedule my OB appointment once I was done with RE and was told my OB is on a 6 month medical leave. His brother is there, and some resident filling in, but I don't know them. He delivered both my babies, so I was adamant on staying with him but no idea when he'll be back. I started quickly searching for a new OB and there's 1 local to me who has been highly recommended in all the FB groups I'm in, so I was lucky to get an appointment with him. I ended up REALLY liking him. I'm high-risk, so he already referred me to an MFM specialist and was so kind and patient with me at our initial meeting.
Questions: Any STM/TTM+ have had a pre-term labor before and had to do progesterone injections to prolong the next pregnancy? This new OB mentioned this may be needed. My 2nd came at 35 weeks, so not too pre-term, but I now have a higher chance of pre-term happening again. He said the MFM will do an eval and may recommend weekly progesterone injections to prolong the pregnancy. I'm ready to do whatever it takes, was just curious to hear others' experiences with this.
@daisy0322 We haven't had issues with grocery stores here, but my mom freaked me out that people were going nuts over turkeys at our local ShopRite the other day, so she was telling me to buy one ASAP due to a shortage. We got one at Costco with no issues though.
@fluteling I had 2 c-sections and my second was a much better/quicker recovery than my first. I'll have no choice with the 3rd now. Also worried about weight gain. I lost quite a bit preparing for baby #2 and didn't lose anything before this pregnancy, soooo I'm in the boat of trying to gain as little as possible and not really being successful already.

@pinkkillersheep yes, especially after eating or in the evenings. Evenings especially, everything feels SUPER heavy.
@KFrob sorry to hear you're still under the weather. The weather here in NY has been crazy - cold/warm/rain/hail the other day. No wonder so many people are sick!

How are you feeling?: So, so sick. I threw up like 5 times yesterday. The diclegis is not doing anything for me at this point. I'm just so wiped.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: Had my first OB Wednesday and it went well. She's already talking possible induction (if I choose) because of a really short second labor, no in town family, and she is out the week of my due date. Tabled that discussion for a long time.
How are you feeling?: Ugh. Awful the last few nights. Really over feeling like junk most of the day. Feeling like a bad mom and wife.
Rants/Raves: First trimester blows.

My second labor was 3.5 hours from start to finish. That included an epidural while at a 10 and 30 minutes of pushing. So really not wanting to have a baby in a car (it's only a five minute drive for me, but still haha).
