Ultrasound Showed No Baby

According to my LMP I’m supposed to be at 7 weeks 5 days but I went in today because of spotting just to make sure everything was okay and she said my gestational sac is measuring at 6 weeks and we couldn’t see baby just an empty sac. They tested my hcg levels and I’m supposed to go back on Wednesday to see if they go up. Has anyone else had anything similar?? Praying the levels go up!!

    This is likely not what you want to hear, but I had the same thing happen this summer at 8 weeks and unfortunately for me it ended in a loss. I am hoping it is not the case for you, and that you will have better luck. I will be thinking of you ❤️

    My hcg was at 6062 on Monday and on Wednesday it was down to 1931. I knew the levels would go down after all the heavy bleeding and cramps on Tuesday. My husband and I are devastated but staying optimistic to try again soon.

    Im so sorry to hear this update, I have been thinking of you. We went through the exact same thing at the end of July and it was so upsetting and disappointing. We have been very fortunate and were able to conceive again in September. I hope that once you and your husband have had some time and are feeling up to it, that it will work out for you ❤️
