Twins?

So this is my third pregnancy. I’m about 8 weeks had first ultrasound last week but had hard time finding baby spotted him/her a couple times. I thought I spotted another spot vaguely but not sure. Anyway my first two I wasn’t this big (my first one I had 2 sac and my water broke twice but 1 baby) but this one I’m showing way sooner and I’m uncomfortable my belly aches and I can’t sleep on my stomach and sleeping on my sides hurts sometimes too. My first 2 this didn’t happen till 2nd trimester was able to belly sleep the whole first trimester. My husband thinks it’s a strong possibility I’m having twins. I for some reason can’t shake it, but is it possible I’m pregnant with twins?

Showing sooner is very common with subsequent pregnancies since your abdominal muscles have already been stretched out so that alone is not an indicator you're having twins. Just like having stronger pregnancy symptoms doesn't mean you're having twins either.

"Another spot" could have easily been something like fluid. Doesn't mean it's twins. Especially since you're saying you saw it vaguely.

Only thing is though is my stomach looks like I’m almost at the end of second trimester even though I’m only 8 weeks. With my other 2 I didn’t start showing this much till second trimester.

My first pregnancy I apparently had twins but lost the second early on. Carried the sac to 36 weeks and started leaking causing me to go to labor and delivery. There they tested the fluid and confirmed it, but I was completely shut they induced me a few hours later I gushed out a whole bunch of water on my ob apparently my second sac (went missed entire pregnancy had ultrasound every appointment) was the one leakin. I asked my ob bout it and was lagit confused he had never heard of this happening. He said I shouldn’t have had a second sac.

It is completely possible to leak before your water breaks. You can spring a leak, that doesn’t  mean you had 2 sacs. If you had an ultrasound at every appointment and they missed something like that I would be looking for different doctors. As for your current ultrasound, twins are pretty clear at 8 weeks and there would be no guessing. It’s very very rare to miss one. What did your doctor or ultrasound tech say? Are you trying to diagnose yourself? Are you a trained ultrasound tech?

I had two sacs because I pushed two out. I was there (pretty sure) it is possible to go your whole pregnancy with two sacs. He straight up told me I probably had twins in the beginning but the second baby stop developing so my body absorbed it. He confirmed I leaked from a different sac why are telling me different. I had my daughter 5 years ago with no pain meds that’s how messed up everything was. And they couldn’t confirm how far along I might be 6-7 weeks not sure, I had ultrasound last week and they almost couldn’t find my baby…. So please don’t rude like that on my post again. I got severe postpartum from my first after finding out I lost a twin…

Sadly not always like I stated above I went my whole first pregnancy with two sacs and I had an ultrasound at every appointment and they still missed it I was supposed to have twins but my ob (my first ob) said that it must have stopped developing and either the fetus or my body absorbed it (look it up it’s a thing) I have bad postpartum after my first one. So yeah you go a whole pregnancy and miss a whole nother baby. With my second I wasn’t nearly this big this early I didn’t start showing till second trimester.

If anyone commenting is just going to discredit what I went through with my daughter then leave it upset me a lot people would try to discredit what I went through. It was me who pushed her out then the second sac with no meds (because they gave me the epidural to late)

You seriously reported @paytonpedro for her response?  Wow! She was not being mean, by any means.  Just take my advice and wait for your next ultrasound and you will get your answer - simple as that have some patience and asking strangers (not like we have telepathic vision into your uterus).

I was pregnant with identical twin my first pregnancy. I did not show any earlier, and the only thing that was abnormal than any other first time pregnancy was my hcg levels were through the roof.
