WTF Wednesday 11/3

I’m not seeing any posts for checking in or anything.

So, I went in for my first ultrasound and all we saw was a gestational sac. I really didn’t like the ultrasound techs. It had me all WTF. And upset.

I got a blood draw
to test my HCG levels but am feeling discouraged. My OB said she’s optimistic and gave me a pregnancy welcome kit. We will see. Send positive vibes my way, please. I go back Friday.

@cheraec I hope Friday brings good news for you. I'm sorry your US tech wasn't great.

My WTF is my 2.5 yo who cannot sleep without a warm body next to him. He wakes up crying in the night and now with pregnancy insomnia it means I'm up for hours at a time, wide awake. Ughhhhh.

@bww_0331 Ugh. Both my kids were like that. I just got my 3.5-year-old to let me sit across the room from her as she falls asleep but she still wakes up and comes looking for me almost every night. The same thing happens to me though. If something wakes me up I’m up for like hours after. It’s the worst.

@cheraec Our boys share a room so he just wakes up randomly. Four times last night which is a recent terrible record. Blah.
