  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. MMC in April 2019; Loss of my 3 month old daughter in June of this year.

    Status: TWW

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? The grief is quite strong some days. Really missing my sweet baby. It's been almost 5 months since we lost her.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope, though I may take a HPT this week, we'll see.

    Questions? None

GTKY: how many pairs of boots do you own? Oh gosh. 5? 6? Granted, most of my shoes are either boots/booties or sandals lol

  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. MC @ 8 weeks in Aug. 2021

Status: O is today, I think

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? I have been sticking with my running workouts, so I'm proud of myself for being consistent. Getting ready for a 5K around Thanksgiving. As far as struggling, I saw someone recently that would have been due around the same time as the baby I lost. It was tough to see that physical reminder of what is missing.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope

    Questions? Not today

GTKY: how many pairs of boots do you own? Probably about 5. I love wearing boots in the fall/winter!

@annanbby I can't even imagine the grief you are still processing. Give yourself lots of grace and steal an extra hug from someone you love today.
  • @annanbby I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I've definitely learned grief isn't a linear process. Sending hugs if you want them.

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. Had a loss in mid-October, so it's been about 2.5 weeks, maybe only 2 weeks since I miscarried. I was between 6/7 weeks along.

    Status: WTO

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Things are starting to feel normal again. My boobs finally stopped hurting and the nausea went away a couple days ago. Plus, my period started yesterday which was super unexpected. Didn't think my body would get back to normal this quickly but it means we can try again soon.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Had bloodwork done today to make sure HCG is still going down. Then I have an appointment on Thursday with my OB/GYN probably to just talk things through and make sure I'm okay.

    Questions? Nope

GTKY: how many pairs of boots do you own? How did you know boots are my one true love? I have like...10 pairs? Maybe more but I don't wear all of them. Of course I only really wear like 3 of them regularly. And now that snow is gonna be falling soon, it's down to two pairs. My slip on super comfy ones for taking the dog out, and my super cute lace ups for special days when I want to look cute.
