How are you feeling?: horrible- today is the first day I’ve kept down any sustainable amount of food in a week
Rants/Raves: I honestly just feel so sick I’m not up for much but I’m hoping I can make it out to trick or treat with my boys. I’ve not made any plans for Saints day on the first though and I’m disappointed normally we pick a saint to honor. Last year we did St Michael and delivered snacks and drinks with a thank you note and pictures the kids drew to the local police.
GTKY - Halloween plans? Are you dressing up or your kiddos? My family is doing a Halloween party on Saturday. Chilli, pumpkin carving/ painting, watching Charlie Brown and the great pumpkin, etc I’m not sure I’ll make it but my hubby will take the kids. I’m praying I can go trick or treating with them Sunday. They’re so excited. My oldest went to a Halloween party at school today and had the best time. He’s Olaf this year and my younger boy is a teddy bear. It’s the cutest. My husband tried to get DS1 to be curious George so he could be the man in the yellow hat lol so I don’t know what his plan is now.

How are you feeling?: like crap. I throw up everything and food all tastes bad.
Rants/Raves: I’m super excited because we are doing the 7 week blood test to determine gender after our appointment to verify we are past 7 weeks. I’m team girl my partner is team boy.
Questions: is anyone else who hasn’t had an ultrasound yet still taking cheapie tests to make sure the line is getting darker. At this point my line is so dark that there’s hardly a control line left, but it’s my only comfort right now.
GTKY - Halloween plans? Are you dressing up or your kiddos? We aren’t dressing up or going trick or treating. We are going to go out to grandmas and hide candy like an Easter egg hunt. That’s what we did last year and my little Anti social baby loved it.
@marionberry19 I had been still using the cheapies but it wasn’t helping my anxiety anymore so I paused.

How are you feeling?: I had really bad insomnia last night. My dog woke me up at 1:30 and I couldn’t fall back asleep. I finally got up, showered, and did some laundry. Crashed around 6:30, slept till 7:30, and woke up for work. It’s not an awesome day.
Rants/Raves: We have our annual tailgate tomorrow! I’ve been nervous about it because a whole bunch of friends and family will be there and surely notice I’m not drinking. I really want to wait for the US next week to tell anyone else.
Questions: Anyone have suggestions for insomnia?
GTKY - Halloween plans? Are you dressing up or your kiddos? No firm plans. Likely I will do my usual dress up as a vampire with one of my high school homecoming dresses from Hot Topic lol. The teenage emo/goth phase left me with lots of Halloween options.

How are you feeling?: Blah, yucks. I'm nauseous more often than not at this point but no throwing up, just a mild uneasy feeling. Exhausted, sore boobs/nips, RLP, stuffy, I'm starting to have the insomnia. Did I mention exhausted?
Rants/Raves: DH has been adulting so hard to pick up my slack.

@pinkkillersheep Good for your still fitting in your stuff from high school! Also, I was a closet goth kid and admire your ability to own it haha.

@marionberry19 there's a blood test at 7 weeks for gender?! Is this something the doctor does?

Upcoming Appointments or Results:
Have been in and out of emerg with complications but everything looks great! Ultrasound on Wednesday and one last Tuesday showed healthy growth and strong heartbeat. Last betas were 76,000. OB says everything looks great so no explanation for bleeding. Currently off work for a week with orders to rest to see if it make a difference.
How are you feeling?: aside from being at emerg 2-4 times a week not too bad. I have had some intense morning sickness and nausea but managing it most days.
Rants/Raves: They sold out of Halloween chips in my town… not only did we not get any for the trick or treaters, I didn’t get any for me to eat as left overs 😂

Are you dressing up or your kiddos? : Devastated to miss Halloween with my students for the first time in 6 years - I love dressing up and seeing their costumes too! 😭 looking forward to passing our treats on Sunday though. Just need to get my husband to put a few more decorations up outside since I normally do but have been out of commission all week.
editing to add that the one I ordered is called peekaboo. I’ve seen people talk about it in other mom groups but never realized it was so early.

How are you feeling?: So nauseous and so grumpy.

How are you feeling?: I felt like hot garbage two weeks ago- nauseous a lot of the day, generally uneasy, super bloated, exhausted, etc. But over the last week or so symptoms are subsiding which has me worried. I went from being super nauseous for a few hours in the AM and then from like 2-8pm to more sporadic and more late at night. I'm also not feeling exhausted like I was which is always my big pregnancy sign. Contemplating calling in to get an earlier scan for peace of mind.
Rants/Raves: It's great to feel mostly human but also worrisome.

GTKY - Halloween plans? Are you dressing up or your kiddos? We have Trick or Treating on Saturday night. Our boys are going to be Spiderman and Catboy. They are so excited. I normally love celebrating holidays and I want to go all out with a Halloween party but I didn't have the time this year.
@KFrob I'm gonna ask for the NIPT too, gonna bring it up at my next appointment. I'm 34 and will be 35 when the baby's born, not sure what standard procedure is there. But I don't know my blood type either and apparently you and your partner's blood types could cause issues too I guess?

@bww_0331 I understand not being able to go all out. My sons school Halloween party was today and normally I would’ve made goodie bags for his class and helped with the party but I just wasn’t up to it. My mom cane in clutch though and made some cookies for him to take. I’m glad your feeling better that gives me hope lol

daughter is going to be Sofia the first. She loves that show. Yes, my 19 MO has a favorite show. I’m a working stay at home mom. Full time at both jobs lol.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: Next Saturday! Not sure what they will do, but they did an EKG last time because I have a heart murmur, so I need to ask about the results.
How are you feeling?: Nauseous all day with daily vomiting (sometimes 2X a day). Luckily I can keep meals down (The nausea is usually just water or bile in the morning or between meals). I hope this week is the peak of "morning sickness".. I tried acupuncture last Friday for the nausea, but it didn't help. I will go again this Friday because supposedly the effects are cummulative.
Rants/Raves: I am a Kindergarten teacher and parent-teacher conferences are this week. WHY this week? It just feels like bad timing. I'm nervous that I'll need to vomit during a conference.
Questions: Anyone else feel guilty for eating poorly? I've been ALL over the place.. not necessarily with cravings or aversions, it's just that NOTHING sounds good so I always end up eating something mentally comforting, like childhood favorites or junky chips/snacks.
GTKY - Halloween plans? Are you dressing up or your kiddos? Put on a giraffe onesie for the school activities, but literally lay down on the field at one point out of exhaustion. Starting to tell more people at work because it's impossible to hide how awful I feel. I will tell my boss after next week's appointment.

@pinkkillersheep I love vampire costumes. I am a fan of vampire stories. Haven't been to a Hot Topic in a long time, but I remember they have a lot of fun stuff in there.
@marionberry19 That's exciting that you will get results soon. I know the sex of my baby, but that's because I did an FET.
@ermsmcg Yes, I tend to like sweets and snack too much. I was eating broccoli everyday and love it but now don't want to look at it.
@bww_0331 I was worried because I went from feeling nauseous to feeling fine and some days I have energy when I usually felt exhausted. My clinic said that pregnancy symptoms fluctuate from day to day.

Stayed home, relaxed, cleaned. Didn't hand out candy but that is because we don't get many trick or treaters. Last time, we got maybe 2 people the whole night.
