Let’s talk registries!

Have you started one yet? Are you registering at multiple stores? 

Maybe STMs can chime in on what items should be on the list and which ones you can skip. Any good checklists/resources/comprehensive reviews you liked?

    Yes yes yes.
    With DS, my mom complained about the prices of everything on my registry, even the 5 dollar books so I took off all big ticket items or tried to buy them early in a panic of anyone seeing them. Then I had one aunt who was dismayed to find we didn’t need anything big as I guess she wanted to really help us out. Lol Seeing the discount we got on smaller items left over made me wish we’d waited though.

    Also for similar reasons to that, I recommend adding different size diapers to a registry if you’re using disposable as with places like Target, you get the percentage off your whole order and who doesn’t love a sale on diapers?

    I’m probably going to register with Target and Amazon again and share it to my FB closer to term for those that care with a disclaimer to feel free to ignore it, but if anyone wants to know what we still need here it is.
     I know a few friends/ relatives find it handy rather than all having to message me if I need anything or if I have x yet.

    Though as I noticed with DS, most will ignore it. Lol It shocked me at first because literally everyone asked if I had a registry, guess it was just a conversation starter :P

    I'm going to register with Target. I'm not expecting a shower or anyone to get anything, as this is kid 2, but thought it would keep me organized. Plus, you get lots of coupons and samples when you register. The completion discount is helpful too.

    I’m registering at Amazon strictly for the completion discount to apply to either our stroller or mini crib. Since the kids will only be 20 months apart, I’ll be reusing a lot. I will probably have a shower but I’ve already told the host I don’t want presents. I’m going to send an Amazon wish list for a local crisis nursery and folks can gift to a non-profit that way. I just feel like we already have SO MUCH CRAP and it’s daunting to need more. 🤪😂
