Clam chowder if I'm at a restaurant and these are the options. French onion sometimes. If I'm making it, I make a good minestrone that I add sausage to.
I cannot possibly choose a best soup, but I have edits to the list. I would add butternut squash soup (especially the Panera version), pair the tomato with grilled cheese, and specify that clam chowder is New England style. I love soup. Craving some wanton now...
@queenklau Omg yesssss Team Ramen (drool)! Tonkotsu with a hard boiled egg and gyoza on the side. We get ramen at least once a week, it’s one of my favorite comfort foods.
Ohhhh this foodie thread is totally for me. 😁 It completely depends on my mood! The Carrabba’s minestrone has been a long-standing fav of mine for so long because it’s so veggie and bean heavy! Sooo flavorful, no pasta, with a mountain of Parmesan on top! Along the same thread, we were introduced to ribolita soup while eating lunch at a winery in Tuscany a few summers ago and absolutely fell in love! Now we make homemade bread in the bread maker for our homemade white bean ribolita soup in the winter! 😋
Now depending on my mood, I am absolutely team ramen along with all you ladies. Can you believe prior to a few months ago, I had never tried it before, ever???? I guess that’s part of growing up in rural western NYS! There’s a Korean BBQ near us here that does the Hakado classic the best because they slow cook their meats and thickly slice the pork so that it’s SO flavorful! Combined with their homemade noodles and 17 hour simmered broth from scratch, it’s totally the best I’ve had so far! 🍜
Way to go me, starting this thread and then abandoning it. Truth is I love them all, but my favorite is a creamy kale soup that I make at home based on my family's recipe!

I’d say my top three from this list are broccoli cheddar, clam chowder, and pho.
