  Had an OB appt on Monday which went well, and the OB asked if I wanted to get my flu shot. I said sure since I was already there and my annual physical isn't until Nov. Well, somehow we both forgot by the end of the appt and I walked out of there without my flu shot, only remembering as I was driving home. *face palm*

  We switched DD3 to a big girl bed yesterday. Bed frame was to arrive between 1-3pm to be assembled. We originally assembled DD3's crib in her bedroom, so I was like you know what, let me measure and make sure it fits through the doorway assembled. I measured, and it was going to fit perfectly. We get it out of her room and try to move it into the guest room (soon to be baby's room), and GUESS WHAT!: that doorway is 2 inches narrower. WTF? Why would one of the bedroom doorways be 2 inches narrower?? So now the crib lives in the living room until I can find the time to disassemble and reassemble it. -_-

  @doxiemoxie212 oof. Do you live in an older house? Before we renovated ours (originally built in the late 1800s) just about everything that should be standard was obviously not and caused us a ton of headaches. One of our exterior walls is still a little crooked so that when we built our new deck we had to be okay with a corner with a 2" gap between the end of the deck and the exterior wall.

  @fameonmain2 1950s? The previous owners renovated it in 2013. It's not a particularly quirky house.

  Mine is my (nearly) 4 yo DS STILL not using the potty. It's not that he can't.  He thinks he will get a shower if he's dirty. But...he kind of needs one if he's covered in 💩. The only thing we've thought of is give him a lukewarm shower instead of a nice warm one and save the warm, good showers for rewards if he's clean all day. 🤷 It's a major pain in the rear though.

  @Boobopgirl ugh what a pain!  I hope the shower system works for him and he uses the potty soon!

  @Boobopgirl our old daycare teacher had a similar problem with their son. I’ll never forget my husband coming home to tell me the conversation he overheard:
  son (3yr): I don’t wanna take a cold bath
  dad: well if you would quit giving yourself poop eyebrows then you wouldn’t have to

  I hope it’s a short phase for you and he learns otherwise!
