Cleaning products

Anyone else nesting like I am & mad cleaning things around the house? My 1 problem… I was so in the zone of cleaning, I didn’t even think to read the labels or wear a mask. Now i’m freaking 😥😩

    Funny you mention that.  I HATE cleaning and won’t usually do it but I’ve started to randomly want to clean.  I’ve found myself wiping baseboards and dusting blinds this week!  I’d heard about the whole nesting instinct thing but thought it came way later!  I’m sure most products are safe if used in moderation so I wouldn’t worry too much!

    Haha! This was me today. I try to clean one room every day, but I was able to knock out two bathrooms, the kitchen, and I vacuumed most of the house! @firewife_911 I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think that if you cleaned for hours at a time every day, I'd maybe look into safer cleaning products, but I agree with @karenmarie9  - anything in moderation is fine. I'm sure you're not huffing the chemicals in a way that would be ultimately harmful. :) 

    ETA: I found a recipe for a general purpose cleaning solution that I really like, and I think it's pretty safe. I use it for basically all surfaces in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. 
    1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
    1 1/2 cups distilled water
    1/2 tsp Castile soap
    15 drops lemon essential oil 

    I just mix that up and keep it in a glass spray bottle, and yeah - I use it for just about everything. You can smell the alcohol, but again, if you're just cleaning for short periods at a time, I wouldn't worry. This solution is diluted enough I think, and if you're worried, just open a window for a bit to air the place out.

    I LITERALLY do not clean HAHAHAHA my husband is a clean freak so he always cleans! I would never make a good housewife 😂
