Sleep lotion from 8 Sheep organics! It is more of a body butter consistency, but it has magnesium in it. Will DD, I was so sick that I was taking b6 and unisom every night, and slept well. This time, I'm not taking unisom and I wasn't sleeping well. I would sleep great for a couple hours, then I would be up for a couple hours. With this magical lotion, I sleep So. MUCH. better. Worth every penny.
Honestly other than maternity clothes and my snoogle I've never really bought anything for pregnancy. But I do LOVE my maternity coat and zip up that turn into baby wearing coat and zip up once baby is here.
@kgg2241 I get my coats from Seraphine. LOVE them! I got my zip up hoodie from there too and it is probably my favourite thing ever. Plus the pregnancy/baby wearing pannel is a zip out so you can keep using the coats even when you're not pregnant or baby wearing. I just got a bunch of maternity nursing tanks from there too that I am in love with.
I love this coat extender that turns a regular coat into a pregnancy coat. It also works great for baby wearing https://makemybellyfit.com/
And for the third trimester, I loved loved loved the support tank tops from blanqi. They are $$$ but they were 1000% worth it for me. Made a huge difference in my pain.
Does anyone have a favorite pair of maternity leggings they can recommend?
@jessier19 Love those extenders! They look great!!! I just ordered some leggings from Preggo Leggings but they haven't arrived yet. I'll let you know if they're any good. I always like the Old Navy leggings in past pregnancies.
ETA I'm 5'11" and I have long legs so it's hard for me to find leggings that are the right length. I have never owned any *real* maternity pants, only leggings, because I could never find any that were long enough:/
They’re not specifically maternity, but I have been living in the Aerie Offline Way Back Long sleeve waffle tee. It is very oversized, has thumb holes in the sleeves, and is just soooo comfy. Pretty sure I will live in these all pregnancy. Also got a pair of the Aerie Offline Real Me High Waisted leggings. I typically live in leggings all winter. Where have these been all my life?! I bought one size up from normal to be able to wear them hopefully the entire pregnancy. They are amazing. Gusseted crotch, so so soft, a thick waistband that isn't restrictive at all. And they dont stretch out at all as you wear them.
@jessier19 I have a pair of Blanqi leggings from my first pregnancy that are wonderful. I never stopped wearing them, so they are pretty worn out, but they are seriously so soft.
@jessier19 I love Felina maternity leggings! They are buttery soft, super stretchy, and have a very light over the belly panel that doesn’t irritate my sensitive belly. @Panaceia I have a long inseam for my height (I always have to order Tall/Long pants for my 32 inch inseam) and the Felina leggings are long enough for me!
@jenis_fan_for_life That's good to know! I usually need around a 35 inseem, but the beauty of leggings is that it doesn't really matter if they're a little short
Re: Product Spotlight: Pregnancy must haves
I honestly didn't buy a lot during my first pregnancy to make it more enjoyable or easier. I'd love to see what you all recommend!
One recommendation -- I was a huge fan of Bio Oil with my first. I'm not sure if it actually prevented stretch marks, but I loved the smell.
