  • @itsagalsworls1024 yes the mood swings! I felt it creeping up on me this morning!
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 5/16 by LMP/ 6+0

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

    Upcoming Appointments: 9/28

How are you feeling?: Got myself in a funk over the weekend because I was convinced symptoms were disappearing, but never fear, my all day sickness was there to greet me late Sunday morning. So I think we're ramping up.

Rants/Raves:  coffee still tastes good to me, so that's been nice.

    Questions: nope

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate! Ok, so I like pumpkin spice flavoring in pumpkin pie, bread, muffins, and the occasional coffee beverage. But that's it. Also, I don't get why people ever b*tched about Starbucks not having real pumpkin in their PSLs. It's not a "pumpkin" latte, it's a pumpkin SPICE latte. I've had real pumpkin in my lattes and honestly it's not that good. Weird squashy flavor.

@and846 oh gosh, we're also in full three-nager mood here too, and she's not even 3 yet 😩 every morning is a struggle to get dressed because "she doesn't know how" 🙄🙄

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

    Upcoming Appointments: Oct 5

How are you feeling?: Nauseous. It seems to be way worse this time around so hopefully co-workers don’t catch on anytime soon.

Rants/Raves: milk is officially back off the table as I haven’t been able to keep it down.

Questions: any good breakfast ideas? I usually have cereal with milk but that is no longer an option. Honestly crazy bread and french fries are the only thing that seems good right now.

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate! I love pumpkin but I am not a coffee drinker so no psl for me.
  • @happynapper Sorry you're sick!

@addsprinkles521 I feel you on the milk; milk and yogurt are starting to make me nauseous, too.

@karisahamdi No nightsweats but I do get hot flashes in the morning a lot of the time. I'm sorry the house is taking longer than hoped!

@pajamstagrams People actually thought there was pumpkin in the PSL? That sounds terrible!

@And846 Good luck with your appointment tomorrow!

    Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 7w5d, 5/4

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

Upcoming Appointments: Wednesday--last appointment with my RE; we'll do one more ultrasound and check my progesterone and estrogen levels. Anyone else on PIO? I still have 3-5 more weeks of these shots.  :s

How are you feeling?: Tired, nauseous if I get hungry (which is unfortunate because I'm constantly hungry) but refluxy if I eat too much (seriously, body? make up your mind), sensitive to smells, and now I keep waking up at 3am for hours.

Rants/Raves: I had three major projects to submit today for work and I did it! I can finally relax tomorrow and do a bunch of work things I've been putting off--and also build a murphy bed with DH, lol. Perks of working remote? ;-)

    Questions: Nada

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate! I hate coffee flavorings so that's going to be a hard pass from me. But I enjoy the actual pumpkin spice flavoring in things like pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin ravioli..... except right now what everything except the pie sounds terrible.  :|
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 5/19 6+4

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

Upcoming Appointments: will book with the midwife when they open tomorrow

How are you feeling?: I'm doing okay. Headaches, fatigue. Still mild nausea all day, worse in the mornings and evenings. Other folks were talking about RLP and I feel like I feel some of that too. Also my c-section scar has been bugging me which is different for me.

Rants/Raves:  I just got home from vacation but various work projects are stressing me out. Can relate to all the toddler dressing challenges. My 20 month old had a full blown meltdown after putting on pants today.

Questions: Any folks here who had a c-section and then a second pregnancy before? Did your scar bug you throughout? I did PT postpartum and scar mobilization and stuff so I'm surprised to be noticing it right now.

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate! Like others, I enjoy pumpkin spices (in bread, pie, pasta) but I'm not into PSL's or really any flavoured coffee.
  • @jandawg I had a c section with my first (currently pregnant with baby #2) and I have read about the scar getting irritated during subsequent pregnancies. I’ve had my ends twinge so far but nothing too uncomfortable.
  • @karisahamdi Thank you for the book recs! I've read & loved two other Ruth Ware books so I'll probably start there!
  • @karisahamdi ive read a few Ruth Ware many having the hardest time getting into One by One
  • @addsprinkles521 I lived off french fries last week! This week it's pasta with butter.

@And846 really!? that's one I started with and I couldn't put it down. When I read the Women in Cabin 10 I struggled to get into that one, but then was hooked again after a couple of chapters.
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 5/16 6+2

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

Upcoming Appointments: 10/5 - first appointment & sonogram!

How are you feeling?: Tired and so bloated! Probably my top two symptoms. I’ve had no nausea at all. Anyone else seem to have all the symptoms except nausea and vomiting??

Rants/Raves: I put on my jeans for the first time yesterday since finding out and oh my I’m already starting to bust out of them! The bloating is so bad. I’m so bummed I have to start going back into the office in a few weeks because I am LIVING in yoga and pajama pants!

Questions: I have a work trip coming up early October, literally right after my first appointment, to Sundance in Utah. I’m going to speak to my doctor about it, but has anyone travelled to high altitude in the first trimester? I’m already starting to become out of breath just walking up my 2 flights of stairs.

    GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate!
Not usually a fan of pumpkin spice, but the Starbucks pumpkin spice cold brew was becoming a fave, until I found out I was pregnant 😂 That addiction ended real quick.
  • @jandawg I’m currently pregnant with my third and I’ve felt some pulling at the end of my scar but it’s gone away. Other than that no discomfort or feeling it really

  • Finally coming back here for some tags...much easier on my computer than the app.

@pajamstagrams I can totally relate on the toddler getting dressed each morning. Like, girl, you know your shirt goes over year head. seriously kiddo.

@b_1029 I got the lab order for NIPT today and they are having me to the panorama one this time (last time was Informa Seq??). I looked up the turn around time last time and it was nearly 2 weeks. Dr. Google told me panorama can have results back to dr in 3-5 days.

@hkom oh my! Weekly appointments! Will you get to see the babe each time or will it be more to check on the cerclage? I stressed about DD and her potty training at 2.5 and actually kept her home for a week to try and train her. Total backfire. I finally just gave up, put a pull up on her and we went out to dinner with out of town friends at a Mexican place. At said Mexican place she asked to use the potty and I took her - first pee in the potty and we haven't looked back. Point being...when I stopped stressing it, it clicked for her. Kiddos can totally feel the pressure we feel with potty training and it can delay them. I know that was our case.

@lil_queen_trashmouth If you are sleeping better are you waking up refreshed or like you pulled an all nighter? I got so excited when I started to sleep early but woke feeling unrefreshed. Have you read any Liane Moriarty books?

@karisahamdi I tend to get night sweats on and off. Some times I wake up in a puddle and other times I'm just clammy. I haven't found a solution yet.

@addsprinkles521 What is crazy bread? And ditto to the milk. I was craving Frosted Flakes and went out to get that with milk. So gross feeling an hour later.

@happynapper oh gosh, I get so hungry too some days! I had to go out and get fruit so I have something decent to nibble on vs Cheetos.

@Bababatty your a trooper with PIO. I looked it up and got queasy.

@jandawg I'm envious that you just got back from vacation! Mention of that makes me realizes our is long overdue!

@abelchatovski so much bloating. Halfway through my work day I want to unbutton my pants.

@abelchatovski I went to Breckenridge when I was like 10 weeks pregnant. I was really worried about it too but was totally fine. Just take it easy and drink lots of water.
  • @abelchatovski with my first I went to Utah as well when I was 8 weeks. I didn’t feel any different then normal, just drink more water since it’s so dry there too.
  • @And846 it’s basically like bread sticks from a pizza place called Little Caesar’s. It’s delicious.
@abelchatovski I’ve flown throughout the first two trimesters and have been to Denver during the first trimester with my first. Really didn’t have issues but I did make sure to drink more water to stay hydrated.

@And846 Its mostly to check to make sure the cerclage is holding but we do get to see the baby every time! Obviously that part is great, but it's still a hassle lol.

I wouldn't be stressing about the potty training if it werent for daycare. We try not to pressure because he is stubborn and will just resist. I'm really crossing my fingers that it just clicks for him soon.

  • @And846 I still wake up exhausted (per usual) but I've been sleeping through the night rather than waking up from 1am-4am nightly which has been a pleasant change. & yes! I love listening to the audiobook version of Liane Moriarty novels because they usually have Australian narrators and I love their accents so much! Her books are such a fun time.

Upcoming Appointments: my midwife on 10/18

How are you feeling?: pretty ok, some symptoms seem to be going away, I had some nausea and now not really, just trying to remain calm :)

Rants/Raves: rant: in the month of August we sold our first home, purchased our second home, moved, and DH has been working out of town since! So hard to unpack with a toddler and DS gives no breaks 😂 rave: I scored some super soft maternity tanks at kohl’s today on clearance for $3

    Questions: none yet!

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate! Give me all the pumpkin everything
  • @alataweasley so sorry about the covid! DH, DS and I all had it over the New Year and not being able to taste was the worst. DH is fine now but my sense of smell has been off ever since and that was now over 9m ago. Hoping you have a speedy recovery!

Upcoming Appointments: First appointment is 10/7, my DS's 4th birthday

How are you feeling?:  Tired, but otherwise pretty good. I had a UTI/bladder infection but am feeling better on antibiotics

Rants/Raves: This week has been generally terrible. Work has been bad, my dad was hospitalized last night for a kidney blockage without a known origin, and then a prying MIL just flat out asked me if I was pregnant and put me on the spot which was soooo uncomfortable. Rave: it's finally feeling like fall!

Questions: Is anyone else looking 2nd trimester pregnant already from all the bloating? Haha

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate!  Ehhh, I'm not a fan.

  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: EDD: 5/18 - 6+2

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

Upcoming Appointments: October 7th, our 1st scan

How are you feeling?: In the thick of the worst nausea this week, it comes and goes and lately it's been coming and just staying...🤢 Super fatigued everyday, and I've been crying over anything & everything this week.

Rants/Raves: I love that I'm pregnant, but HATE/LOATHE this nausea - it's been making work so difficult and honestly I've been struggling because of it.

    Questions: none at the moment

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate - not a fan, and eight now thinking of it is making me nauseous..🤢
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: May 16-19, 5+6

    FTM/STM/TTM+: second

Upcoming Appointments: Oct 4!! This will be my follow up after the awkward “we don’t see an embryo, just a yolk sac” at 5+3. I’m really looking forward / nervous.

How are you feeling?: I thought I’d feel worse. With my first, smell was really heightened but that hasn’t happened yet. My boobs were sore initially but that’s gone away. I’m not nauseous like I’ll barf, just kinda upset stomach all the time. And headaches. And irritable. And moody.

Rants/Raves: I’m annoyed that I had that early US… it totally freaked me out and sent me over the edge with anxiety. But the more I’ve been researching I can see that all my numbers are in a good range (hcg, gestational sac, yolk sac) and it seems like it was just too early. But the US tech didn’t really reassure me and neither did my midwife, even though I really think it will be ok.

Questions: Are other people’s symptoms really coming and going? My boobs were so full and sore and now it feels like they’re possibly deflating. It’s making me nervous! Is this normal?

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate! Not a fan of sweet coffee. But I don’t mind pumpkin bread!

    Upcoming Appointments:
Regular prenatal appointment on October 5th

    How are you feeling?:
Nausea is kicking my butt, if I don't eat I get hit with dizzy spells, and the only way I feel okay is if I'm horizontal.

    Rants/Raves:
GAS. If I could quit burping, that would be great.

    Questions:

    GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate!
NO. Absolutely not. Especially pregnant, it tastes like dirt. But Cinnamon Toast Crunch is amazing.

  • @brookejay06 my nausea comes and goes and I’ve noticed on and off breast tenderness.

Upcoming Appointments: 10/1, dating US and appt with my OB

How are you feeling?: overall good, except I’m feeling so much anxiety that there won’t be a heartbeat at this US.

Rants/Raves: Rants: I’ve been moot and more snappy at my kids. Raves, the weather is cooling down which means sweatshirts ❤️

    Questions: None at the moment

GTKY: Pumpkin Spice…the great debate! Yes! Starbucks’ pumpkin cream cold brew is a current obsession. I also love pumpkin cream cheese bars
