TWW Fri-YAY! 9.10

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. R/R: Another busy day today; gotta get a draft of our quarterly plans out by end of day. Blergh. And we have additional planning on top of the usual quarterly ones. It's too much. I've had to decline a bunch of meetings today to make room for doing actual work. I'm really looking forward to the weekend, even though it's been a short week. Tonight we're hopefully going to celebrate friends' engagement (it's at 8pm, so cutting into my getting ready for bed time so I'm not sure how that'll work) and then hopefully getting together with another friend tomorrow. And then Sunday possibly taking our dog to a dog park with a neighbor who also has a corgi. Our dogs love to play with one another!

    CS/Q: Nope

R/R: beautiful fall day today and I'm stuck trying to figure out what on earth this homework means. Woo!

CS/Q: Looking at my temps, I might not have ovulated until CD23 or so? I have no idea, I'm just waiting for my period at this point. Looking forward to finishing this mess of a cycle.

@acleverusername it sounds like you have a really nice weekend planned! I think we’ll need to see some corgi play date pics! Haha.

@fantasyflyte I hope you can figure out your homework and still enjoy this beautiful day- it’s gorgeous here too! Totally hear you on waiting for this mess of a cycle to end! Staying hopeful it ends favorably for you!! 🤞🏼

@paytonpedro What kind of curtains are you thinking?
@acleverusername Sounds like a fun weekend!
@fantasyflyte I feel like we must live in the same general area of the country as we always have the same weather! LOL.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2AL

    CD/DPO: 13/3

    Timing: "good"

    Typical LP length: 13/14

Testing: going to try to hold off as long as possible, but I'm a sucker for not waiting so we shall see.

R/R: I found out this morning that DH has to work OT tomorrow, so it's the second weekend on my own. He had three fantasy football drafts last weekend so he was gone for most of it. Thankfully we have a memorial for my Grandpa on Sunday so we will see a lot of family from my Dad's side who we barely get to see, so I am really looking forward to that.

@paytonpedro Good luck with the productive day! I’ve been meaning to get curtains for our bedroom (for five years…).
@acleverusername That sounds like a lovely weekend! Very jealous of the corgi. I love my mutts but have not so secretly wanted a corgi for a few years.
@fantasyflyte I feel you on the homework. I finally wrote the paper I’ve been procrastinating on. I just cannot get myself to care about tax law as it relates to business entities.
@tessiesmom26 I always appreciate getting to see extended family. Hope between that and going solo tomorrow you get to have a nice quiet weekend.

    Month/Cycle: 5/4

    CD/DPO: 26/6

    Timing: good

    Typical LP length: 11ish

    Testing: 12DPO

R/R: We’re going to a music festival this weekend. I feel very strange about it with everything going on. I feel somewhat better that they’re requiring vaccinations or a negative test within the last 72 hours. Plus I’ll be outdoors the entire time. I’ve felt generally ok since both DH and I had COVID last December and are vaccinated which I rationalize means double protection (please do not correct me on this and let me live in blissful ignorance lol). But this will definitely be the biggest crowd we’ve been around in a couple years. Unfortunately I have class this weekend so I’ll miss half of it but it is what it is.

CS/Q: Got progesterone checked today, so we’ll see what that means. Today’s temp is high, likely because I was up till 2 writing a paper.

@tessiesmom26 my vibe is totally rustic farmhouse, but my husband likes more of a modern farmhouse. We also like blackout curtains which really limits up. I was thinking black and whole Buffalo check plaid though. I also kinda wanna so a white shiplap accent wall and get a new bed frame and night stands (we’ve had our current for 10 years) but I’m not going to push my luck lol.
Sorry your husband is working OT this weekend. My husband works TONS of overtime so I know it can be kind of frustrating. MH has a fantasy thing this weekend *insert violent eye rolls*. But at least you get to spend sometime with your family this weekend. I’m sorry about your grandpa, but I’m glad you’ll be with your family.

@pinkkillersheep I only did a small portion of what I wanted to but I also got my livingroom nice and organized so I’m happy. I hope you have fun at your musical festival and can enjoy it despite your apprehensions. I totally wouldn’t argue the double protection from your natural immunities and the vaccine. I totally think that’s a thing. Lol.

@paytonpedro meh, the spotting started tonight, but I treated myself to dessert nachos (apple slices with melted peanut butter and melted chocolate chips drizzled on top) and gave myself a mini foot spa, so life could be worse I guess.
@tessiesmom26 probably, although to be fair the entire eastern seaboard's been pretty similar recently, lol.
@pinkkillersheep I just found out that I'm required to do a research paper in one of my classes, and have to come up with an abstract in the next 10 days. 🙃 yaaaay schoolwork! I felt similarly when we went to a stadium concert last month, but it ended up okay. Most people were still masking and the open-air venue made me feel a little better.
