WAYDTGKU: waiting, for now. I have super long cycles so I'm going to disappear for about two weeks. It's nice to get a break from temping and thinking about TTC between tries

WAYDTGKU: CM, haven’t started temping

R/R: all the water Ida dumped on us revealed 3 leaks in our basement. Also our bathroom started leaking to the ceiling below it. And our dryer broke. So today we’re having insurance come out, contractors, and appliance repair. ALL AT ONCE. Our basement is massive storage because in the past few years my mom, and MiL and hub’s uncle died. They all also had grandparents stuff from when they died. So now we have ALL of their stuff. It’s been a heaxhache the past couple of years trying to sort through it all. So today we’re scrambling to move s*** around and make room for everyone to access the areas. On top of it all, I’ve been on super high anxiety, I couldn’t sleep yesterday from it. So I’m exhausted. And don’t even want to know about the money this will all cost.

CS/Q: random: is it better to DTD before fertile window for “fresh” sperm during O or to hold off and “save” them until fertile window/O? I suppose I should ask my doctor, as with everything. I hate dr google. Lol

@hgsurvivor you should DTD every day if you don't have male subfertility, and EOD if you do. By "saving it" you are actually doing your self a disservice since you'll end up with lots of sperm, but it'll be of lower quality (i.e. not motile, poor forward progression, higher dna fragmentation). For e.g., during IVF, it's is recommended that men ejaculate every 2-3 days before egg retrieval/fertilization to have the best possible sperm. Hope that helps.

R/R: well I’m sad I missed all the fun here this morning. I’ll blame it on my 2hr work meeting that I had to call into. Ugh. Useless. Just the fact that some of these things have to be said out loud is flabbergasting to me. “Be polite and friendly to clients.” Like f****** obviously! Waste of my time. Anyways I had Instacart delivered while in my meeting and forgot so it sat outside for 15 minutes and then when I went out to get it I could find it because the idiot delivered it to a neighbors house. All our house numbers are very clear. So I had to haul 30-40lb boxes down the street to my house and quite honestly I’m lucky nothing was taken. What a damn idiot. Ugh. Enough with my ranting. I have my Not Today Satan shirt on for a reason and I’m going to try and have a better day!!!

I hope it’s just because my room was cold and I’m not ovulating so early. I was instructed not to get pregnant while taking the medication I’m on and we definitely don’t use protection… I started opks today and it’s pretty negative, also it would be very out of the ordinary for me.

R/R: I’m in a good place today. I’m finally back to bench pressing with a bar after my chest strain a couple months ago. DH is home and made a great dinner last night. It’s a long holiday weekend. Hoping this gives me energy for the next couple weeks because there’s a lot of people depending on me to be better than I’ve been at work lately.

CS/Q: My opk from yesterday evening and this morning was definitely positive. That was reassuring because I’ve had some really confusing results the last three cycles and this was the first one to feel “right”. Timing is going to end up being good assuming thermal shift happens in the next day or so. Hoping this also means a shorter cycle than the last one.

@pinkkillersheep so happy for you today that you’re in a good place!! What did yh make for dinner?? I loveeee when my husband cooks but I don’t love that he uses every dish and doesn’t clean up after. Lol. Your chart looks sooo niiiice!!

@paytonpedro bbq chicken, potato salad spiced with Ethiopian berbere spice blend, and grilled asparagus 😍 Pretty excited for a chart that looks fairly textbook. Although I feel like I possibly produce more EWCM than what I see in other charts? I can’t tell if I’m misinterpreting things or if it’s just what is “normal” for me.

@pinkkillersheep that sounds delicious!!! I don’t track my cm because I literally have ewcm all the time (maybe that’s a problem?). So I would pay way more attention to opks and bbt. But that’s just me personally. I know a lot of ladies here like to look at the whole picture.

@hgsurvivor loool. Every day of FW. I never discourage sex outside of FW, but that’s for fun only. Of course, you need to know when your FW is for that plan to work.
