Month/Cycle: 27/1 AL

WAYDTGKU: Clomid & TI

R/R: I had a blazing positive OPK yesterday and a lighter positive this morning so I think it’s safe to say that it’s O day today. I slept like crap last night. I had the hardest time falling asleep and then only slept for about 2.5 hours. Of course today is our in-service day at school so I had to be up early. But I did get up earlier than necessary so I could get my workout done for which I’m proud of myself.

R/R: we had a HUGE thunderstorm last night remnants of Ida working her way up north. So I kept waking up with the crazy thunder, and lightning lighting up the room like a rave. haha

R/R: TW another's pee sticks & pregnancy.

Well, my best friend messaged me yesterday saying that her period is 2 days late and after taking a few "early" tests on Sat/Sun/Mon and getting a negative, she took a cheapie test yesterday and got a positive and asked me for advice. I told her to go get a FRER and see. So, yeah, turns out she's pregnant. That's after messaging with me this weekend asking how she can pinpoint her ovulation since her cycles have been all over the place since she'd come off the mini-pill in April. 🤷‍♀️Of course I'm happy for her, but also seriously bummed since it was clearly effortless for them.

Oh well, at least Sergio showed up yesterday, so we DTD'ed last night, and will again tomorrow morning.

ugh I’m sorry. I know how tough it is to be happy for someone else when the only thing you want is what they’re getting. I went through a similar experience with my best friend when we were 9 months deep (it felt like a lifetime at the time) ttc and she got pregnant first time trying.

@hgsurvivor are you one of those people who like thunderstorms? Personally sometimes they’re cool, but when they really get whippin I get ptsd from an incident as a child and I get super anxious!!

@gingermama29 I envy you ambition to workout before work!!! I’ve never been that person and I’ve accepted it, but I wish I was!! **meant to put this here** I hope your day went well despite not getting any sleep and actually, I hope you’re getting some rest/sleep now!!

R/R: I was just at a park with my dad metal detecting and the village clerk literally told me he had to stop. And when I asked for the policy or bylaws to be sent to me saying it was illegal or not allowed, they said they were “internal policies” and not written anywhere. I know for a fact there is no law/policy/code written against it (because I’ve looked) and I’m honestly kind of pissed off. I live in a small village and I know this person well, and quite honestly it rubbed me the wrong way. We’ve even spoken to police (months prior) who have no problem with it and have told us it’s fine to continue. I’m a little perturbed.

@acleverusername woooo O buddies!! Let’s go be BMB buddies too! Sorry for the trigger from your friend. It’s so hard mentally to be happy for someone who gets KU effortlessly and not feel bitter about your own struggle. Hugs.

@britters314 I hate the heat and humidity too! So happy fall weather is on its way!

@paytonpedro honestly I’ve never been that type of person either. Ever since my scare with thinking I had diabetes in May, I’ve been in really good habits of consistently working out every day though and I like getting it out of the way early. I’d be perturbed about that too. I hate when people go on annoying power trips. So frustrating!

@acleverusername my dad definitely finished the area he was searching and then we walked back to my house. Just prior he found a 1960 silver dime so regardless it was totally worth it!! We plan on printing the village policies and prohibited behavior for the park/village and carrying it, and going back to do it again!! Ask away! Haha.

My SIL shared her positive news with me last night. I’m happy for her, but it was definitely a punch to the gut. This makes the second time they were successful on the first try.

@britters314 I swear September will end up being even worse than August, I can feel it in my soul and I’m not looking forward to it.
@paytonpedro some people need to mind their own d*mn business, what the heck! Sorry you experienced that.

R/R: I yelled at DH today. I feel bad because he really didn’t deserve it. He’s been on this amazing eight day long backpacking trip out west and I’m so jealous and generally tired from life. It’s not that I didn’t want him to go, and I’m glad he’s getting what he needs from it. It’s just such a hard time right now.

CS/Q: Three days in to EWCM, but bbt is still low. Hoping O waits at least one more day when DH gets home. OPKs haven’t shown much, but they didn’t really last cycle either.

@paytonpedro I am! I love them so much. As long as it’s nothing severe of course. I would imagine having past trauma from childhood would change things a lot. Also, I would be seriously pissed by being told it’s internal policies wtf. Bull***

@acleverusername well not from the storm itself. But all the rain has brought three water leaks to our attention. Into our basement. So in a way, yes damage, but without the storm we wouldn’t have noticed them. I’ve spent all day on the phone with home insurance and whatnot. Responding to your spoiler:

I totally understand that it’s upsetting. And of course you’re happy for your friend but it’s a like a punch in the gut, not from her of course, just from life, all of it. Has she been aware, understanding, and supportive about your journey and struggles? I’m sorry you’re having to be in this position of watching how easy it was for them. Hugs.
