CS/Q: has anyone tried Proov strips? I'm thinking of trying at 7DPO to confirm whether I ovulated.

R/R: the day has finally come! The rental company that ran our air bnb with the *bug drama* FINALLY gave my husband an answer re: refund. Should be getting everything back within a couple weeks, minus insurance/pet deposit I think. 🙌 Of course, that company is still on our sh*t list because DH had to keep calling them to even progress this, despite then saying "we'll call you tomorrow, I promise" 🙄.

All this sh*t was definitely not worth the "free" vacation, even if it looks like my OCD on de-quarantining/treating our luggage paid off🤞. Would absolutely pay full price again to not worry about bugs and deal with all that.

@agesandstages i haven't used proov, but I thought that tried to find progesterone or something, so wouldn't you need to test much later than CD7??

Yes, Proov strips are great! They helped me diagnose low progesterone in my own luteal phase (which sent me down a rabbit hole to find out 'why' which I've now determined to be my thyroid autoimmunity). The trick is to use them with FMU, and you'll also want to test for 4 days (7-10DPO). The instructions "say" that you need to do a baseline test after your period finishes / before you ovulate, but you don't really have to. What you're looking for is no test line (which blows my mind... why didn't they go with the paradigm most of us know, and make the P4 threshold trigger the appearance of a 2nd line, and not the disappearance thereof.)

Also their FB page is super helpful, but fair warning: lots of TW in the form of pee sticks.

@agesandstages I'll have to look into Leggo masters. I feel like we might have tried to watch before, but it sounds like it's right up our alley. Also, hope you feel better soon!
