  • What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? Recommitting myself to intermittent fasting and mindful food choices. Also working on general self care (wearing a face mask as I type this!). Sticking to the indset of following the plan is so hard sometimes.

    How's everything going? Any recent wins? I've lost about 10 pounds since I saw my doctor in late July, when she told me to lose as much weight as possible as we're trying. It's not a lot, and it feels like it's slow coming off, but I'm trying to remind myself that that's like 2lbs a week which is objectively great. At my current size, though, 10lbs doesn't seem to look like much of anything in the mirror.

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? Honestly I'm not sure, but I feel more motivated than I have in a while. I'm trying to remind myself, when I want to break my fast or binge sweets, that I want a baby more than I want the cake. It's starting to work more often. I've also been listening to more positive message music when I'm driving (one of my current favorite songs is Green Day's "Pollyanna"). I'm also finally getting back into exercising with my mom this week after being derailed for over a month with going on vacation and then a lingering cough after vacation. I also start classes this week, and in person, which is good because it'll get me out and walking around on campus.
