    Quiet summer mornings when I can sit with a cup of coffee, read a little, and catch up on TB at my own leisure :)

    Today I’m thankful for air conditioning, because it’s going to hit 107 in Oregon. This summer has been insane!

    I am thankful for good medical care. My daughter had tubes put in her ears this morning and she’s already back to herself at home.

    @monstera13 107!   :o  that is unbelievable for PNW. I'm guessing A/C isn't standard everywhere?

    Yeah it’s INSANE for this area. Usually the hottest it gets is a couple days in the mid 90s, but earlier in the summer we had a heatwave where it hit 115 two days in a row, and now we are in about three days above 100. I’m lucky to have air conditioning in my house, but lots of people don’t.

    I’m thankful to not have to commute on the subway this pregnancy and work from my couch ... the only bright side of the pandemic

    Thankful my husband left his biglaw job and works at a midsize firm now. He still works a ton, but his work/life balance is so much better. It was really dark the past year  :# lol

    Thankful we haven't had much smoke yet this season. Last year was so awful, it was like constant smoke from August through November. I'm really hoping it doesn't come at all this year, but I know that's not realistic.
