    R/R: My TWW anxiety is reaching a new level in which I wake up every two hours to check what time it is and see if it’s bbt time, which of course leads to added anxiety about creating an invalid reading in the morning. I am basically a giant ball of anxiety.

    In unrelated news, we did a kayak trip this morning through the marshes down here and it was beautiful. We followed a few dolphins (from a respectful distance of course) as they caught their lunch. It was really fascinating watching them in this mix of hunting and playing.

    CS/Q: Decided it’d be worth tracking some additional things, though they’re probably primarily vacation related.

    R/R: @pinkkillersheep I am right there with you! I had a VIVD dream last night that I got a positive test then there was so much dye it started leaking out of the stick.... The anxiety is real!

    My in-laws have had a lake house for about 15 years now and this is the last year they will have it. They are retired and want less to take care of, I get it, but COME ON. You're taking our summer fun 😂. We are trying to get there as many weekends as we can this summer but it is now a 2 hour drive (compared to 20 mins before our more) and its just harder.

    R/R: Everything is becoming a Schrodinger’s box of am I/aren’t I: I’m hot because… but also because it’s like a sauna in this house. I was exhausted yesterday because… but also AF is supposed to show up next week and I’m usually super exhausted the week before. Just normal TWW, over-analyzing, slowly descending into madness stuff.

    R/R: It's my birthday! Went to the local lake beach, got some ice cream. We're getting pizza later! Rant: Got my first paycheck of the new year-I'm a teacher. The new contract has some BS rule that new teachers can't make more than a senior person at the same step in their school so last year my contract had 6k knocked off. This year was almost that much, plus a rise in healthcare, plus the fact that I've maxed out columns and am only going up steps-I make $14 less per pay period this year than last year. And I'm not even sure that includes my dues for the union.

    @pinkkillersheep the temping thing will be me in 2-3 days, lol. Once I start worrying about the temp dip I get crazy.

    @jellie603 ooo a lake house is my dream. My grandpa had one when I was a kid and I have great memories there. A lake house and a pontoon boat and a couple kayaks/paddleboards. Heaven!

    Lurking about to join bump again and I am in tww but @SmashJam in a teacher too and that is crazy. My husband and I switched districts last year and they tried to bring us on 5 steps lower on the pay scale because the district had pay freezes over the last 10 years she it would put out salaries where the other teachers were. We turned down the jobs. They cake back 2 weeks later to offer us what we thought we would be making. I think the fact that we did this though, made our dept head leave for another district because even though she had more years than us and was dept head, my husband made more than she did.

    Happiest of birthdays @SmashJam ! Beach, ice cream, and pizza sounds amazing! Yes the lake house has been a dream come true! They have a "speed boat" so all the kids in the family can tube, kayaks (adult and kid) and like one billion floats. They have a bunk house that we usually sleep in and it is so much fun! So Sad that it will be gone by next summer...
