What was your favorite band growing up?

    The first cassette tape I ever bought was Ace of Base. I was in second grade and I was SO PROUD of it. Later, in middle school, I went through a long phase of love for the Beatles. In high school, the first cd I ever purchased for myself was a singer-songwriter called Jude, I really was obsessed with him for a few years there.

    My very first cd was Christina Aguilera, Genie in a Bottle, and I was so excited to go to Circuit City and get it. I was pretty into Spice Girls and *NSYNC too. My tastes evolved through a lot of crappy music all the way through high school. Now I’m mostly into 60s-80s end Broadway, however most days I’m singing along to Cocomelon with my kids 😆

    Ohhh I love this one. I went through all the phases but my absolute favorite during highschool was The Academy Is... I'm kind of embarrassed about that now 😂.

    In high school I was very much a Tori Amos, Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, Live, U2 girl. And as a kid in the 80s I definitely went nuts for New Kids on the Block, had the Joey doll and a pretty intense tshirt collection.
