Soda water with lots of lemon helped me last time. And sucking on sour candy Lemonheads, jolly rachers, etc. I had some sea bands but never determined if they were effective, but I know multiple people who said they worked for them.
@hkom Yeah, I've known some women who swear by sea bands! I didn't like wearing them myself. I stocked up on Saltines last pregnancy because I was heavily advised by many that they can help first thing in the morning, but I hated them and had to give them all away. I'm going to try the hard candies!
Ginger tea or other hot drinks seemed easier to keep down, but I don't know if they made me feel better. Flowy clothes that don't put pressure on my abdomen. Seizing the moment to eat a small meal when the nausea has ebbed away. Fruit was the least offensive food to me so I ate a lot of strawberries and grapes.
Last pregnancy I had to eat something before getting out of bed in the morning or I would throw up. DH brought me crackers, a poptart, a granola bar, etc each day. I was also prescribed Diglesis for my doctor, which was helpful for the all day nausea.
Also I pretty much had to have food in my stomach at all times, especially in the morning, and it usually had to be something with a substantial amount of fat or protein. I ate a lot of egg and cheese sandwiches mid-morning. If i let myself get hungry it was nausea but also very bad light-headedness. Almost passed out a few times with my 2nd.
For me I basically can’t have an empty stomach. Even before I feel hungry, I feel nauseous and/or lightheaded. Eggs and toast are my BFFs right now. Also trying to keep little snacks on me, like ginger chews, dried fruit, and some grass-fed beef sticks.
Lucky right now to be working at a juice bar, so having 1-2 fresh juices every day packed with lots of veggies and extra ginger helps to keep my tummy full and gets those nutrients in even when I can’t stand the thought of cutting or cooking a vegetable, hahaha.
