R/R: currently waiting for O, which should be today. Another month of H not being thrilled about ttc but I’m grateful that he’s humoring me a little longer. My sleep is still so bad. I think I need to try hitting the hay at 830 this week.

R/R: this weekend I realized we've had something going on every single weekend so far this month. July just flies by for us. I became a godmother yesterday and need to get a gift ordered. Oops :# but it did kind of sneak up on me since we were getting back into the swing of things last week after vacation and completely forgot to decide what to do/get.

@mamanbebe I'm glad YH is still good with TTC and fingers crossed for your O!

    Month/Cycle: 9/9

    CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opks, cinnamon supplements, metformin

R/R: currently in the car heading home from our unexpectedly extended vacation (long story short when MIL did the reservations our room ended up booked thru Monday instead of Saturday because we'd stayed a weird combo of days last time). Super relaxing, had a great week with family and then a great weekend just the two of us. Everything just aligned, work was able to cover my shift yesterday so we were able to stay the two days, and we really needed it.
Now back to daily life, going to go back to intermittent fasting to lose weight hopefully quickly since my obgyn wants me to lose as much weight as possible as fast as possible to mitigate weight related risks in an eventual pregnancy. We have an appt with her tomorrow to discuss DH's sperm analysis results and figure out if our next step is a specialist (I'm assuming RE? She just said specialist on the phone so we'll find out tomorrow) or lifestyle changes/supplements/diet/meds/whatever to address the motility issue.

CS/Q: not a pretty chart this month since I forgot to temp like half the days on vacation and most of the ones I did take were a bit artificially high because of the hotel blankets lol.

    WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opk

R/R: So close to being done with this semester. A project to present tonight, a mock negotiation Tuesday and Wednesday, a paper on Wednesday, a paper and presentation on Saturday. So so so close.

CS/Q: My bbt has been very low the past couple days. My base line is typically around 97.1, and it's gone down to 96.74, 96.96. This morning at 5:30 is was 96.71, a new low. I fell back asleep and woke up at 6:30. For kicks and giggles I checked it again and it was 97.46. I know you're supposed to check it at the same time, but does one hour really change it by 0.7 when I immediately went back to sleep? This matters in part because I can't figure out if I ovulated this cycle. CBAD never gave me a static face. My cheap opks don't have a clear positive, and they seem to indicate LH is going down. EW CM is gone. I'm not sure if that means my body tried and didn't quite get there. I've got another six weeks until my OBGYN appt and am hoping to go in with some idea of what's happening.

@mamanbebe Sorry you're having a rough time between TTC and lack of sleep. Here's hoping you get some good sleep tonight!

@fantasyflyte Curious to hear about your intermittent fasting experience if you feel like sharing. I've dabbled in it but haven't stuck with it.

    CD: 4

WAYDTGKU: temping currently, waiting for my period to stop for the rest.

R/R: I'm back at work for a mentor training this week which is so great! But also means I have to get my butt out of the house to be there by 8. I'm in the training with a couple of old coworkers and my time at that school was not great...one of them seems unhappy there but is pretty professional and won't engage in gossip and the other loves it there and I wouldn't gossip with her but really...I just want to gossip a little. Not that I'm unprofessional and gossip a lot but...I do like to know what's going on. I don't spread it around! Lol

CS/Q:  nope. Forgot to take my temp once on CD 2 and I have an ugly dotted line now. Lame.

@mamanbebe remind me what the maca is for again? I know people who have used it outside of TTC but not during.

@pinkkillersheep you're amazing with your school. Go you! So close!

@fantasyflyte I have a loose acquaintance who has lost 100 lbs on IF. She's got a job that requires a pretty big Fb presence which is why I know about the IF and she runs an accountability group for it too...she loves it. People in that group have lots of success with it quick! I hope you see results!
@inthewoods23 July really flies for me too! What are you getting for your godchild?

@pinkkillersheep it's hard to say because i only did it for a couple weeks before going on vacation. I did lose several pounds, a lot of which i think is because having a set eating time prevents the snacking i do at night. I'm easing myself back into it now that I'm back to daily life.
@SmashJam I'm hoping it'll work like that for me! And i hear you on the dotted line, my temping was all over the place this week thanks to being away.

@SmashJam It depends on the type, but the yellow maca is good for women’s fertility and serves as an adaptogen that can help rebalance your hormones and because it is also a bioavailable source of certain vitamins, it can improve egg quality. I’ve used it before and was also turned onto it by a friend who found success and by a fertility naturopath as well. My understanding is that you take it until a bfp, mixing into a smoothie or other liquid is best but it does taste a little weird. I’ve also heard of people taking it only up to O and then stopping for the TWW, and people who continue taking it during 1st tri but phasing it out slowly. I picked up some from the food coop in Montpelier a few weeks back and am mixing it with smoothies or almond milk daily.

And for you! Get that gossip! Lol. You need to have a little background on everyone to help you start navigating imo :)

@pinkkillersheep that sounds like you have not ovulated yet but you might! I had a weird cycle once that had two separate weeks of fertile CM but the first one, during regular timing, had no clear positive and no O cramping. The second one came a couple days before AF would have arrived and actual O followed but with a shorter LP. The cycle after that was good though. I hope things regulate for you soon!

@fantasyflyte I hope the intermittent fasting does the trick! By the traditional Chinese medicine clock, you should stop eating by 7pm and resume after 7am, so that your body can go through a full detox repair cycle. I have been trying to follow that and work my supplements in accordingly and similarly enjoying the effects of not snacking after dinner.

@inthewoods23 I hope August brings more relaxing weekends! I am also hoping for that :) and yes, I need to squeeze in some naps!
