  • Month/Cycle: 25/4 AL

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: Clomid & TI, PNV, OPKs

R/R: ughhh the basement saga continues. The head of the company personally called me last week and said that guys would be out yesterday and would be installing polyvinyl which would redirect water to the sump pump. Well I did have someone here yesterday (a subcontractor) but he put apoxy in the weep holes and was done in 5-10 minutes. I ended up calling the company back and explained that what the owner said would be happening and what was actually done were completely different things and I was looking for clarification. I’m supposed to hear back from the owner, I hope today.

  • @gingermama29 what the heck! That's super frustrating, I hope it gets actually settled soon.

    Month/Cycle: 9/9

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opks, cinnamon, metformin

R/R: meh, grumpy today. Talked to my doctor this morning and she said she wanted me to get my bloods done today on CD2 rather than 3 or 4, and that since my period was practically textbook this last time, that we should wait one more month to look at ovulation induction because I may not need it. Which is technically good news but frustrating that the plan is getting pushed back. But who knows, maybe this'll be the month and it'll be moot. Still getting my bloodwork done today, and planning to get my husband in for the SA hopefully this week so we can have the results for all of it when we get back from vacation.
And in the meantime, my bloodwork appointment isn't til 12:30 and she wanted me fasting for one of them and I'm hungry and crampy and don't want to take anything on an empty stomach so I'm just going to sit and wallow instead lol.

    CS/Q: nothing yet

  • @gingermama29 oh my gosh this basement! What the heck!? I hope you get clarification from the owner!

@fantasyflyte I’m sorry you're grumpy today but I think your feeling are valid. I’m super type A so when plans, especially important plans like this, change, it makes me grumpy too. Can you maybe at least drink water to fool your stomach? But I’m sorry. That is miserable having to wait for the bw and to eat.

    Month/Cycle: 2/ 1AL

    CD: 10

    WAYDTGKU: benched

R/R: I think I give up temping this cycle. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I only have once so far, missed today and yesterday and I’m already cd 10. I might just use opks this cycle. The sun poked through a little bit ago and I was so hopeful that maybe today would be nice, but now it’s overcast/ cloudy again so whomp whomp. Ugh. It rained so much, yesterday specifically, that my entire walkway flooded next to my house. The ground is just so saturated at this point, like when will it end?!? Not looking forward to seeing all the weeds this weekend. This rains going to make them grow so fast.

    CS/Q:
  • @gingermama29 ugh that sounds so frustrating! Hopefully you can get some resolution when you talk to the owner.

@fantasyflyte omg a 12:30 fasting blood test sounds like my literal nightmare. Hopefully the time passes quickly for you!

@paytonpedro 🤦‍♀️ now I know why my backyard weeds went crazy this month! So much rain!! Hopefully you guys don't get too many mosquitoes with all that standing water. They've been so bad this year!

    Month/Cycle: 2 AL (last benched cycle!) 🙌🙌

CD: 1...I think..still spotting and AF hasn't quite committed to her arrival. But cramping/BBT indicates it should be imminent

    WAYDTGKU: nothing right now

R/R: my team has sit-stand desks at work! A nice surprise!

    CS/Q: nope.
  • @pajamstagrams I didn’t even really think about that. At my house the walkway has dried and I haven’t noticed too many mosquitos. But at my family’s land they have been particularly brutal this year and the rain is probably why. Totally makes sense now.
Yay for the sit stand desks!!! I work behind a high counter and have the option to sit or stand and couldn’t imagine being stuck sitting all day.
  • @gingermama29 What a nightmare! Hope you get some solid answers when they call you back.

@fantasyflyte Oh gosh, fasting until 12:30 would have me very grumpy

@mamanbebe (going back to a couple days ago) I'm guessing the chest muscular pain is a strain and not a tear (yet). My physical therapist thinks it's fine since it isn't getting worse, which I guess is something.

@paytonpedro Fingers crossed, I think this is our first day without rain in over a week...

@pajamstagrams Love sit/stand desks! My back can't handle sitting too long and my sit/stand desk has been a godsend.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 9

    WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opk

R/R: I feel like a slightly erratic person because I went to my PCP since it'll take two months to get into the OBGYN about my irregular cycles. He's a RNP so I knew he would tell me to just get to the OBGYN, which is of course what happened. But we're at least going to knock out some bloodwork in the meantime. I basically word vomited fertility information to him and he kindly explained that I probably know more about this than he does right now. I'm still glad I went in though. I'm a giant anxiety ball and it was oddly reassuring to talk through everything even if he wasn't prepared to do much more than listen. He does well at balancing "I hear you and your feelings are valid" with "Here's what I can confidently tell you from the available information".

    CS/Q: none
  • @pinkkillersheep glad your PCP was able to make you feel less anxious, and you get some blood work done. That's so weird your OB has such a long wait!
  • @pajamstagrams @paytonpedro my state is actually asking people to be proactive and empty any standing water they see because we tend to be a West Nile hotspot and it's been SO WET.

@pinkkillersheep good doctors are a godsend. Bloodwork will be nice too because it can knock out some of the easy to see concerns and you'll be able to go to the OB with a more targeted focus. Is it a new doctor for you? It seems weird there'd be such a long wait.
  • @fantasyflyte ugh fasting blood work is the worst. Hopefully it wasn’t too bad trying to make it until then. FX that this cycle is it for you and you done have to worry about things getting pushed back!

@paytonpedro we missed the worst of the storms and rain yesterday but I’m having a hard time keeping up with all my weeds too. I feel like it’s been such a rainy/stormy summer. And stupid hot.

@pajamstagrams yay for standing desks at work, boo to AF!

@pinkkillersheep I feel like with anxiety, sometimes it’s just nice to have a sounding board and someone to say everything out loud to (at least for me). Glad you had a good talk with your pcp.
