Ok, speaking of Friends, I was pro Joey + Rachel and hated Ross. Still do. Everything about him annoys me.

******DISCLAIMER, I have NOT seen the series finale of Friends and I do not actually know what happens so please use a spoiler if you have something to say about how it ended. Yes, I realize I'm crazy, and yes I do plan on watching it eventually because I now also want to see the reunion.

@kiki047 I think that is totally reasonable! I always found it so difficult to think of the male characters having adult relationships. It's the aame reason I remember rooting for Richard and Monica- not Chandler...I don't even remember how that storyline ended.

@Lcardinal04 ohhh yes, I loved Richard too and was secretly kind of thrilled when he showed up and tried to get her back when Chandler was trying to propose. He was just such a composed, mature character juxtaposed beside Chandler's awkward, self-conscious jokester (which I guess was the point) and it took me a long time to figure out why he and Monica worked. I still don't know if I get it but I've come to accept it. I think the true love story in that group was actually Phoebe and Mike!

Thought of another UO that came up at dinner the other night - I hate air blowing on me. I do like good air flow in the room so it isn't stifling but I don't want to feel it directly on my skin. MH needs the ceiling fan on full blast to sleep and runs the AC right in his face in the car but I close all the vents and hide under the covers. I hate the white noise too but I can get past that part.

@kiki047 *gasp* I thought the Joey / Rachel pairing was such a strange plot. Did not like it at all. Ross can get annoying though, I’ll agree with that 😂

@kiki047 lol same girl with the air blowing. Wind is my enemy. In the cooler months, I'm all good if the sun is shining with little wind. Add wind into the mix that is cool air, then I'm freezing my ass off. If the wind happens to feel warmer then it's fine.

I wish I could say my UO is that I don't like Friends, but I've never seen a single episode and have no interest in trying to get into it.

@kiki047 eww I am not a Joey/Rachel fan. However I do agree that Phoebe/Mike is the best pairing! I think I like them even more than Chandler/Monica.

As for hating air blowing on me, SAME. We have a mini-split in our bedroom and the air blows right on my face, I hate it so much. Last night I woke up twice feeling intensely hot, put it on for 5 minutes, and then turned it right back off because I couldn't deal with it in my face.

@b_1029 I don't know why I shipped them, maybe because it felt natural? Like Ross and Rachel felt forced to me, just the nerdy big brother who had a crush on his sister's hot friend and he eventually wore her down, but Joey falling for Rachel felt like more of a natural progression. Even Chandler and Monica started with a drunken encounter that turned into something else. *shrug*

@kiki047 I liked Joey and Rachel at first but I didn’t like how they progressed their relationship. They made Joey too serious about it or something so it felt awkward to me.

@kiki047 agree! I only like air blowing on me if I'm sweating profusely. Otherwise, just cool down the room/car without touching me!!

@kiki047 100% with you with the air blowing and hating the white noise of ac/a fan. We use window ac and haven’t even put it in yet. The alternative is fans and it’s still been cool/ in the 70’s at night so I’m just pleasing with mh to wait a little longer.

@inthewoods23 I haven’t watched friends in… uh… almost 2 decades? Lol. Not interested either.

Im definitely more of a Sex in the City person, if I’m going to watch reruns or an older show.

Haha looks like I have the UO of liking air blowing on me. I’m a “sleep with a fan directly aimed at my face” kinda girl. The white noise doesn’t bother me unless it’s crazy loud, like our window AC units (but central air has solved that problem. It’s much quieter!)

@kiki047 I didn't hate the Joey/Rachel pairing but I guess my UO would be that I don't really care for Rachel much at all. I love Jennifer Aniston and I think she plays the part great but Rachel's character is just too selfish/self-involved. Honestly though I think it's just because I'm older now, I didn't have a problem with her back when it was on TV but I've been rewatching the seasons recently from start to finish and for some reason she bugs me more now. Chandler and Monica are my faves forever!!

I’m late but have to get in on this. I tried to watch Friends so many different times but just cannot even finish an episode. Chandler is the most annoying disgusting character to ever be written into a show. Everything about him made my skin crawl to where I couldn’t even watch the show. The only episode I remember actually watching & laughing at was when Joey got the modeling gig to be the face of some STD campaign and he was plastered all over the city with said STD. Now that was funny.

My UO (in addition to the one above) is that Seinfeld also sucked as a show. Could not ever watch it, will never watch a rerun. Soooo annoying!

Add me to your list @kiki047 & @inthewoods23 & @fameonmain2 of not being able to stand air blowing directly on me. Feels freezing!

@paytonpedro Yep, Sex and the City reruns are always a good idea.😉
