    We had a cat and we’ve had 4 dogs total (not all at the same time). I also used to have a bunny and my brothers had guinea pigs. Among many fish as well

    Always had 1 dog and 2 cats growing up. Also across my time growing up, I've had probably a dozen siberian hamsters (only bought two from the store but I seem to have had a knack for picking the pregnant hamsters at the stores  :D), two sugargliders, a few birds, and numerous fish.

    Oh man... here we go. Many, many cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, birds, bearded dragon, fish and a rat.  Now that I'm an adult and no one can tell me "no" it has moved into dogs, cats, lovebirds, a leopard gecko, a hedgehog, geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys & rabbits.  The wish list still contains goats, mini horse, and an umbrella cockatoo at the minimum!

    I had one cat growing up. Now we have 2 cats and 2 dogs!

    My family always had dogs growing up and DH always had cats so now we have 2 cats and 2 dogs.

    One cat. A cat that showed up at our house and my sister would sneak her inside. One day she became part of the family I guess.

    I had gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, fish and guinea pigs when I was little but I got my first dog when I was 8. Then we had another dog after he passed. I also had two chinchillas who I loved, they were so soft and cute and would sit on my shoulder! Now I have 2 dogs, my 10 year old "baby" pug and my partner's 3 year old rescue!
