Bleeding in early pregnancy stopped hcg rising

Hello baby growers

So on May 7th I got a BFP and then proceeded to bleed until May 15th. Not enough to fill a pad but I passed clots. Convinced I was in the midst of a miscarriage, I visited my doctor who diagnosed me with a threatened miscarriage. The bleeding has since stopped, a series of 4 Hcg tests show my hormones are rising 150% every 48 hours, and they found a gestational sac along with a yolk sac at 5w0d.

Has anyone bled for that long during early pregnancy and had success?? Does the cessation of bleeding better my chances of success? Im feeling very anxious after my miscarriage at 5 weeks in December

    @kennedyrose97 Bleeding during pregnancy, especially small spotting amounts can be perfectly normal. For the entire pregnancy.  If your doctor thinks it is fine, your HCG is doubling (or more) every 48 hours, and especially if you stopped bleeding, I would not be concerned.

    Reality is, if you're going to have a MC with this PG, there is nothing you can do about it.  So you need to focus on each day, and being PG that day.

    October 2015 - 1st MC.  7-8 weeks along. Suspected molar PG, but luckily just a MMC.

    June 2016 - 2nd MC: 4-5 weeks CP

    September 2016 - 3rd MC: 4-5 weeks CP

    RE 1: ALL the testing - 'unexplained'  "Yinz can do IVF or try on your own"

    Feb 2017 - 4th MC: 6 weeks

    RE 2: More tests. Still 'unexplained.'  Called fat for an entire hour-long appointment, cried a lot

    Feb 2019 - 5th MC: 6-7 weeks

    IUD - March 2019-March 2023

    RE 3:  Repeat all the tests. Hoping to try IVF.

    Totally anecdotally but I spotted with my first for 4-5 days. I thought it was my period because we gave up trying that month and I wasn’t tracking. I even used a tampon or two. He’s 5 now.
    Like @stormageddon-darklordofall said, hcg is doing good, and bleeding stopped- that’s a good thing. I really hope everything works out for you and your little bean sticks!

    I spotted for about two weeks - week 7-9. Who knows why?! 10 week scan coming up and I’m sure everything will be fine.

    I’ve read about women with subchorionic hemorrhages (I had one in my first pregnancy that led to a MC) for whom everything was okay. And these women were bleeding out, soaking through towels, and it didn’t affect their babies at all!

    I know it’s scary! Whatever will happen, will happen. Just try and stay calm and present :)
