Scream and freak out! But how would I spend it? Well, I’d have to make a list 😂 I’d definitely give some to my mom and my best friend and I made a pact years ago that if either of us ever won over a million, we’d give the other 10% so some to him. Then plan a really extravagant vacation. Buy a really nice house. Invest. Donate to charity. The usual
I think I might faint. Once recovered, I would have some (expensive) champagne, pay off my parents mortgage, send some to all my siblings, buy a nice house that overlooks the ocean and a holiday home in London. I'd donate to charity and maybe quit my job and run a dog's home.
I'd keep quiet as heck my mom says that if she won she wouldn't share with the family (how sweet for a woman who hasn't worked in a career ever and not for over a decade). I would pay off our loans though, probably not too much else, living comfortably would just be nice.
Buy 40+ acres, build an awesome little off grid cabin and start truly homesteading... then I could work seasonally at Target for the employee discount on Christmas stuff!!!
I've always said that I would buy a nice large plot of land down south (since it's cheap, not that I like the south) and build houses for all of our siblings and parents. Then we'd use golf carts around the property to see each all the time 😅
Realistically though, if we win like a million, then we're paying off our house, buying an investment property and just working lower stress jobs.
Buy some land and have a house custom-built. I'd probably keep working but likely cut back my hours to parttime. Hire a regular cleaning service so that I may never have to worry about cleaning the house again Take some very nice vacations. Invest whatever is left.
Yeah, buy land and build our dream house. If it is a stupid amount of money we’d help out a ton of family and buy vacation homes, invest, and donate a bunch to charity.
Maybe buy a vacation home? But one that is easy to maintain, I'm not super hot on home ownership because it's so annoying to maintain. So actually, maybe just have it as a perpetual vacation fund lol. See if our families are in need of any cash (they aren't as far as I know), and then invest the rest. I'm boring haha
Yeah, girl! When my husband was applying for jobs in Orlando I realized we could afford a small condo in Celebration and tried to talk him into that. No dice 😂
