  • Month/Cycle: 1AL

    CD: 8

    WAYDTGKU: warmin' that bench

R/R: I'm finally feeling okay enough to work out today! At this point in the morning, I'm dressed for it, so now I just need the final motivation to head to the garage 😂

CS/Q: do you really get better opk results in the afternoon? I've been doing mine at 11-noon ish, is that too early? Also, it takes longer than the 3 minutes wait time (usually 5) for the dye to settle, so am I doing something wrong? (Using easy@home cheapies)

@pajamstagrams ditto! I'm dressed to work out as well but haven't made the move to the bonus room!

Month/Cycle: 18 mo total // 9 mo with treatments and being aggressive

CD: 31/1 -- spotting so it could turn to full CD 1 later today

WAYDTGKU: PNV, Vit D, HIO, starting to temp again, Letrozole, estradiol and progesterone and going into this month with IUI #3 or switching it to just a medicated due to vacation timing and being OOT.

R/R: It's rained every day this week. I enjoy a good rain day but every day is a bit much...

    CS/Q: none at the moment.
  • Month/Cycle: 3/4

    CD: 7

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs, vitamins

R/R: It's Friday! Our plans for the weekend got cancelled. It's a little bit of a bummer, but I'm also glad to have a lazy weekend. Hoping to get some things cleared out of the garage if it isn't too hot. Heading to the pool this evening!

    CS/Q: Nope

@pajamstagrams I usually take mine in the morning and/or evening for ease of not having to take them to work, so I don't have any great idea on the afternoon thing. Do you usually have trouble spotting your surge? That would be the only reason it would matter, I think.
  • @pajamstagrams I believe the ideal time for OPKs is between 10 and 2. I've always taken mine when I wake up and then sometime after work or before bed. When I get closer to O and take them more than twice a day I have found that the majority of the time my peak happens in the late morning.

@And846 we're in the middle of multiple days of rain. We'll see how I feel by Monday if I'm tired of it lol. I enjoy not having to water our plants since the rain has been a decent amount (or thunderstorms!) every time.

@abjm0325 yay lazy weekend! I'm sure for most people next weekend with be busy with the holiday.

    Month/Cycle: 8 AL

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: temping, opks (starting Tuesday), CM checks, minimizing gluten and dairy, maybe covid vaccine this cycle but haven't talked to DH about it yet

R/R: DH and I talked this morning about what we should do for our anniversary in a week. We went from driving and taking a ferry across a lake to going to Six Flags :D I think the last time DH and I went to a theme park I was still in college so it's been well over 10 years. But hey, let's do this one last time before I get KU right?

    CS/Q: nope

  • @pajamstagrams I've never tried FMU with opks, but I have gotten my peaks (when I get them, yay PCOS) any time between like 11am and 10pm. I think as long as it's not a super diluted go you should be fine. I also use easy@home and read them around 5 minutes.

@And846 sorry about CD1. Rain for days in a row is a bit much, it's hard to have a lot of energy when the weather is dreary.

@abjm0325 boo canceled plans, but enjoy the pool!

@inthewoods23 Six Flags sounds fun! Do you both like the same kinds of rides?

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 9

WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opks, cinnamon supplements

R/R: final exam today and I'm so unpreparrrrrred. But then finishing (hopefully) my cakes tonight. Freaking Amazon didn't deliver my package yesterday that has the letter cutters, and now it could come today OR tomorrow. The party is tomorrow so I'd really like to get them today...

CS/Q: nothing yet but I'll probably start checking cm this weekend.

@And846 it's just soooo hot here and I'm procrastinating 😂 sorry about all the rain! We've had tons of rain recently as well.

@abjm0325 well this is the first time I've used OPKs. I tried last cycle and ended up testing the day I ovulated, and it was very negative. I won't miss it this cycle because I started on CD 4 😂

Our plans got cancelled too 😖 but enjoy your pool time!

@inthewoods23 yeah I was definitely going to do 2x a day when I get closer.

Ah I love six flags! I haven't been to one in a while, but I'm also afraid that I'm too old for rollercoasters now. I've been blacking out on them since my 20s 😬 maybe I should stick to the kiddie ones lol

    Eta

@fantasyflyte good luck on your final!
  • @fantasyflyte we are both fans of roller coasters. DH is more of an old man obviously so hopefully he doesn't end up with a migraine or a sore back after the fact. We'll find out haha. GL on your exam and I hope your Amazon package shows up at a reasonable time!

@pajamstagrams blacking out? Oof yeah you might want to stick to the tame ones lol

  • Intro'd in newbie thread so just jumping in here today!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: just started temping this cycle, will start OPKs later, will check CM and CP once period stops.

R/R: I'm writing a novel and I'm almost finished-almost 70,000 words! I think I'll probably get there this weekend, if not next week!

@pajamstagrams I've learned something from this question-I always thought the best time was first thing because your pee wasn't the least diluted from fluids. But maybe this explains my difficulty finding a surge because I'd always take them at 6 am before heading to work and maybe I'm just missing it.

    @inthewoods23 Six Flags sounds amazing!

@abjm0325 I hate last minute plans getting canceled, but lazy weekends are good too!

@And846 hey there! We're having a rainy week this coming week and I'm not sure what we're going to do!
  • @pajamstagrams I check throughout the day because I just assume my peak time could vary but I guess I have had stronger positives in the afternoon or evening.

@And846 I hope you get some relief from the rain this weekend!

@abjm0325 Pool sounds divine! Enjoy your relaxing weekend :)

@inthewoods23 Six Flags sounds like loads of fun!

@fantasyflyte Could you tell me a bit about the cinnamon supplements? Is it anti-inflammatory?

@SmashJam Wow! That is a lot, I hope you get close to finished this weekend, if not all the way!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 9

    WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK, NAC, Kindara

R/R: I'm so beat today. My ILs were here from Sun-Wed, then one of my dearest friends was here from Wed-Today. I feel like I haven't slept in a week and am looking forward to not hosting for a few days before more friends arrive for the 4th next weekend. I am hoping that O arrives on time so that we have no visitors during fertility week  :#

    CS/Q:

  • @SmashJam had to look back at your intro, but your novel sounds interesting! I'd definitely read both dystopian and YA novels😊

@mamanbebe laughing/crying at your unfortunate visitor timing during FW. 🤞 everyone is gone when it happens. We're spending next weekend with my family, and it's going to align with FW (maybe) so I'm kinda glad I'm benched anyway lol.

Thanks everyone for the opk help! Seems like I'm kinda on the right track. Now I just gotta find the surge, whenever it comes.
  • @And846 Rain every day is definitely a lot to take. Hope you get some sunshine this weekend!

@inthewoods23 Six Flags sounds like so much fun!

@fantasyflyte Hope your package arrives today. You’ll do great on your exam!

@pajamstagrams Haha, I think starting at CD 4 ought to do it.

@SmashJam Congrats on almost finishing your novel!

@mamanbebe I think after the pandemic my hosting muscle isn’t used to having people over any more so it’s more exhausting. Hope O cooperates!

  • And846And846 member
@inthewoods23 so much yes to a theme park! I actually like them more as an adult
  • @SmashJam that's so exciting, congrats on the nearly finished book!
@mamanbebe the cinnamon is for ovulation - I have PCOS and my obgyn wanted me to start drinking cinnamon/ginger tea daily, but I couldn't force myself to drink it (really don't like tea), so I started taking cinnamon instead, I figure it's better than nothing lol. We'll see if she wants me to change anything at my followup next week.

  • @fantasyflyte that makes sense to me too, I hope it works as expected!
