R/R: well, due to having some leftovers in our fridge, we may not go out for dinner tonight. Disappointing, but if DH is having a rough day he's just going to want to be home ASAP and that's fine. Plus we can always go out on our anniversary in a few weeks. We likely wouldn't even eat downtown anyway lol. Just need to get through the next 2 hours, then it's lunch and heading downtown for our little tour. It's a waste water treatment facility for anyone wondering. One of the industries our products are used in.

@inthewoods23 boo to not going out, but that's understandable. We did the responsible thing and came home to eat instead of getting food while out on errands like we wanted to. Being an adult is stupid sometimes

R/R: started walking in the mornings with my mom, we did our first one this morning. It was nice to spend some time alone together, and I'm a million times more likely to actually go out and exercise if I'm being held accountable by someone outside my household. Now to do homework and class for the rest of the day, wooo. At least today's homework is the last one since the class ends this week. And tomorrow I can start playing with the fondant to make the little decorations for this weekend's cakes!

R/R: I didn’t check in yesterday because we were traveling in the morning and got home in time for an epic thunderstorm and to lose power until 2:00 am. I like rain and thunderstorms just fine, but no power for 9 hours was not my favorite. DH and I did enjoy attempting to play a board game by flashlight last night though. Now I’m playing the fun game of trying to decide if the food in the fridge is still okay to eat. Someone check on me in like 2 hours and see if I died from eating this vegetable dip.

@inthewoods23 Hope you enjoy being out of the office even if you don’t get to go out to dinner.

@fantasyflyte I am definitely better about exercising if it’s with a friend too. What kind of fondant decorations are you making?

Update: I did not die after eating the dip.

@abjm0325 we still ate stuff from our fridge even after 20 hours of no power. And I'm talking things like chicken. We didn't get sick. Per our fridge, it was around 45-50 degrees by the time power was back on so it wasn't horribly warm in there.
