How are you feeling this week? Good! Apart from exhausted and sore all over...
Rants/Raves? Questions? How do you guys feel about your nurses? I absolutely <i>loved </i>my nurse I had with DD, and then it has been a newer nurse for both of these last rounds of FETs, and I just never got the same nice warm fuzzy feeling from her like I did my first nurse. I miss Michelle!! When I said about how soon the MWs were going to do my first scan originally, she was real quick to just be like, oh, okay, so we can discharge you early then! lol Uh... let's pump the brakes, please. And then my last prescription refill got messed up, and I just called CVS to confirm, and then had to email her to ask for the correction, because I don't think she was really listening to me in the first place. Ugh.
Upcoming appointments? I talked to my nurse and the midwives again, and decided to bump out my first MW appointment two weeks. That way I will have my next scan Monday 6/21 and graduate at 8 weeks 6/28 (two days shy), and then wait till 10 weeks to be seen at the MW office and get NIPT drawn and my first U/s there. Then would be the NT scan at 12 weeks, no scan at the 16 weeks, and then AS around 20 weeks. But that way I get to see the baby at 5, 6.5, 7.5, 10, 12, rather than double up at 8 weeks, or graduate a week early. Glad to have a plan in place for my next several appointments.

</span>I wanted to paint the kitchen when we moved in here, the cabinets white or white uppers/blueish grey lowers, and neutral walls... but we are renting and DH just felt it was too much work and cost for fancy cabinet paint that it wasn't worth it for a place we didn't own. We still have to finish swapping the girls' beds around now, and I have some decals and a mobile that never got hung up in there, that I would love to still try to finish. We have somewhat started househunting, but we are not really quite ready to move on anything yet, so I might as well enjoy it while it lasts here. :)
Rants/Raves? Questions? Dh just applied for another job after being begged too by his old boss, as a welding instructor for the college. but they hired someone right as he turned his resume in. He is a welder in production and has been in his lead man position for a while now, so he’s bummed that he missed out, but we’re thinking it might be for the best with the timing of this pregnancy and everything since we’ve already met half of our deductible. So hopefully he can reapply next may. I know he’s feeling a lot of pressure right now because he is our sole breadwinner.

ohh yes. We just bought our house at the end of the year last year and it’s very much builder grade, with no fancy lights, paint, built ins etc.. so we really want to paint the entire house and update a lot of the fixtures and stuff. We had been holding off spending the money in case we had to do ivf or more fertility treatments. But know I’m thinking, maybe we should get to it before baby gets here!
@businesswife I’m sorry you miss your nurse! Hopefully you will find a good one with your MW! That’s awesome that you will get so many scans in the next few weeks! I think we’ll only do this 8 week scan, maybe a gender scan, and then one at 20 weeks as long as everything stays healthy and low risk. I don’t blame you for not wanting to change anything in a rental! You can really make the place your own when you guys do decide to move!

How are you feeling this week? Tired! And was super anxious about the scan I had Thursday.
Rants/Raves? Questions? I should have waited until the Monday appt for my US. We saw everything we needed to but it would have just been more clear.

GTKY: Do you have any actual / fantasy reno or makeover type projects you'd like to do around the house? We actually could our “forever home” 4 days after our retrieval back in December. We’d been kinda looking but not in a rush. We sold our previous house for such a good price we had the money to redo all flooring, finish the lower level and give Parker the best playroom. His playroom has the double French doors going in to it and for some reason I always dreamed of French doors lol. I just have to do the white wash plank ceiling this weekend and then I can start decorating!
