Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Monday 6.21

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Re: TWW Monday 6.21

  • Month/Cycle: 5

    CD/DPO: 26/9

    Typical LP length: 15 days

Testing: BFN this morning/ I'll try to wait until Wednesday to test again

R/R: Vacation last week was great. We got lots of pool time in and just enjoyed the cooler mountain air. We were able to do two long nature walks too. I didn't get a chance to check in last week after my RE appointment, but I feel really good about our next steps. Next cycle I'll up my letrozole dosage and add in the trigger shot. I need to call and schedule a baseline ultrasound and then I'll do the monitoring to see when to do the trigger shot. We will do this for three cycles and then move on to an IUI.

    CS/Q: Nope

  • @kgg2241 so glad you have a good vacation and a good dr appt!! Those long nature walks sound just lovely! Where did you go?

    Month/Cycle:1/1

    CD/DPO: cd19/ 4dpo

    Timing: -2, -1, 0, +1

Typical LP length: 7-9 days 😫

Testing: if I make it to 10dpo I might test.
R/R: We had a really good weekend. I finished getting my garden in and when I say I’m done, I mean it this time!!! Our potatoes, corn, and pumpkins are coming in so great!! We lost some spaghetti squash and cantaloupes but I replaced the cantaloupe so hopefully I don’t loose them again. I put in 15+ pepper plants, 2 tomato plants, cucs and zucchini, and even a little artichoke plant! I’m excited for that!

    CS/Q:

  • @paytonpedro Your garden sounds so lovely! That is awesome. What a good variety of produce. And we went to a local ski resort town. It is more like a staycation for us since it isn't too far from home, but it is always a treat.
  • @kgg2241 we have a town like that about an hour away and did some shopping, and lunch and drinks last weekend for our anniversary. It was so nice. It’s always great so have something like that near by!

    Month/Cycle: 3

    CD/DPO: 24/2

Timing: decent, just not sure about O, but BD EOD for the FW

    LP length: 14-16 days

Testing: Im sure I’ll start testing around 9 DPO because I’m a masochist

R/R: we hosted my little sister’s engagement party over the weekend and it was a blast (rave) but I am 40 years old and being hungover is like a 2 day affair (rant).

CS/Q: Mira says I ovulated on Wed but it didn’t move the date around despite having no real LH surge (weird), but I didn’t get a positive opk (Proov app) until Saturday. 🤷‍♀️ So. I’m going with Saturday. I’m worried I didn’t O, just because my LH seemed late and totally different from last month. But I’ll do the Proov tests in a few days and hopefully confirm.

@kgg2241 your next steps sound really great, I’m so glad you’re feeling empowered and optimistic. I love mountain hikes in that crisper, cooler air. So refreshing!

@paytonpedro your garden sounds amazing, I’m jealous! We had a great garden at our last house but we dropped the ball this year. With our tree removal and patio/fence work, we’ve just given up this year. But once all that yard stuff is done we’ll be ready for an exciting garden next year! We’re in Minnesota so our growing season is short for summer veggies. How long is your tomato season? I miss legit, long-hot-summer tomatoes so much!

@paytonpedro a 7-9 day LP is much too short; have you talked to your OB about that?

@acleverusername check out the June question thread, @paytonpedro gave out some more info there earlier in the month and I’m curious as to your thoughts!
  • @rachelredhead hear you on being hungover is a two day thing. I’m in NYS, not NYC lol, and our growing season isn’t terribly long. I put my tomato plants in on May 5th at home. This other garden is at my family’s cabin that I’ve taken over the last 2 years. It starts getting cold in September but sometimes it’s not until the end of Sept. I have to buy plants, or start them at home like a month prior to putting them in the ground. Peas and carrots and such go in in April. I actually have a ton of snap peas right now at home that are almost big enough to eat.

@acleverusername I know 😫 it’s been recent so I’m hoping it will sort itself out. I want to give it a couple months before I call my dr. She knows I was borderline too short and offered bc because we weren’t ttc at that point but I don’t handle bc well so I said no. She also suggested acupuncture which I’ll probably ask her the details on first.
