**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

GTKY: What's the top place on your bucket list to travel to?

Re: WTO WEEKEND 6.19-6.20

  • Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 3

WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opks, maybe turkey baster method of needed

R/R: hanging out at my parents house after work, then finishing planting veggies this evening. Been a long few days. It's kind of freeing though that my mom knows we're trying (tw for other person preg)

since I called her blubbering the other day after finding out my sister's pregnant.
    CS/Q: not yet

GTKY: What's the top place on your bucket list to travel to? Ireland, for sure.

  • @fantasyflyte

Oooh I'd love to go to Ireland!
I'm glad you talked to your mom! Hopefully she and your sister understand that you might not be ready to share in their excitement yet.

    Month/Cycle: 1 AL

    CD: 2

    WAYDTGKU: benched

R/R: the perfect storm of a possible minor sinus/ear infection in combination with my normal hormonal migraines during my period is guaranteed to make all our family time this weekend super fun 😖 at least I have antibiotics now and hopefully they help.

    CS/Q: nope

GTKY: What's the top place on your bucket list to travel to? Huge LOTR nerd so I'd love to go to New Zealand!
  • @fantasyflyte I'm glad you got that off your chest with your mom! That feeling is amazing

    Month/Cycle: 8 AL

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU: temping, OPKs, CM, GF/DF diet

R/R: nothing going on this weekend for us. I should start up another puzzle. I have 5 from DH to do. Might go out and weed a bit today since we had some good rain overnight so the ground is nice and soft.

CS/Q: my new normal might just be a 12 day LP. Laaaame.

GTKY: What's the top place on your bucket list to travel to? Right now would be Iceland if we have a chance to see the volcanoes. But if not that I'd love to see more of Canada and Alaska. I'd love to stay at a deep in the woods cabin. The isolation would be oh so nice.

  • @pajamstagrams ugh, migraines are the literal worst. And they love to pop up at the worst times.
@inthewoods23 is that longer or shorter than your previous normal?
  • @fantasyflyte it used to be consistently 13 days with the occasional 12. Post MC I've had a couple 12, 13, and 14 days now. A couple times now my period has started pretty late in the day (once was around 10pm before going to bed) so that messes with the numbers too. I just really liked it being 13 because I easily knew that if ovulation was a Saturday then my period would arrive 2 Saturdays from then 😆

  • @inthewoods23 I hate it when my period starts in the evening/overnight. Makes it hard to figure out what is day 1!
  • Month/Cycle: 3/4

    CD: 1

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs, vitamins

R/R: My period started late last night, boo. I'm calling this CD 1, but I will agree with others that I hate when it starts that time of day for tracking purposes. I think my LP might only have been 11 days this month, but without accurate tracking it's hard to say for sure. At least I didn't have time to waste a test this cycle, I guess...

    CS/Q: Not yet

GTKY: What's the top place on your bucket list to travel to? Ooh, this is a tough question! I'd love to go to Iceland like @inthewoods23, but if I didn't have to do the plane ride to get there I would also love to visit Australia.
  • @fantasyflyte I'm glad you talked to your mom. I hope that will help your family be more sensitive in the coming weeks.

@pajamstagrams Oof, that sounds like a lot! Hope the antibiotics help quickly.
  • @inthewoods23 @abjm0325 oooh Iceland would be so fun too! Agree wholeheartedly!
  • @fantasyflyte I was going to say exactly what pajamstagrams said. It’s tough not talking about it when it’s such a big part of your life, so it’s good you have your mom.

@pajamstagrams I’m sorry you’re feeling so unwell! I’ve been getting hormonal migraines the last 4/5 cycles and it’s miserable. Have you found anything that helps?

@inthewoods23 I would totally take a 12 day lp from my 7-9 currently 😫 but I’m sorry. I hope it steps up to whatever was normal for you prior. Ideally a perfect 14 days lol. My mil wants to do an Alaskan cruise but I’m just not sold on it lol.

@abjm0325 agree with you about the plane ride to Australia! MH wants to go to Fuji but the plane travel doesn’t sound fun at all.

    Month/Cycle:1/1

    CD: 17

    WAYDTGKU: opk/ bbt/ fertility tea

R/R: I hate my job. I hate everything about it. I’m off the next 2 saturdays and that alone is keeping me going today. It’s just miserable.
Pretty sure o day was 2 days ago but waiting for crosshairs. I’ll probably jump over to tww tomorrow. I’m happier with my temp this morning.

    CS/Q:

    Stuck in the box

GTKY: What's the top place on your bucket list to travel to? I’m honestly not sure. We travel a lot. I’d like to do a Mediterranean cruise and go to Poland.
  • @paytonpedro the only thing that helps is avoiding triggers (exercise, alcohol, baths, and anything that will dehydrate me). I've been doing better recently when I was on progesterone, but with this last cycle not really being a "cycle" I didn't take it so I'm wondering if that's why it was worse.

    That's a beautiful temp jump!
  • @pajamstagrams It was easier with the RE because the day was considered CD1 if it was before 4pm. No reason other than that's the latest they accept phone calls to the nurses line 😆. I used to panic when my period didn't show up by 2pm because I could usually do a pantiliner for like an hour before the full flow would start and I always wanted to be sure that's what I was at before calling.

@abjm0325 Australia and New Zealand are on my bucket list! My grandparents many years ago had done some kind of cruise around the 2 countries. I can't wait to be retired with time on my hands lol

@paytonpedro an Alaskan cruise is amazing! We did that a couple years ago. I'd love to get DH on a cruise but he doesn't like the crowded aspect but he'd absolutely love the weather there.

  • I'm glad we told our parents we're trying. My mom pulled me aside today and gave me something special from when I was a baby that she was saving for when I had one, but said now that she knows, she wanted to give it to me to help keep me positive.
