How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well?  Doing ok, enjoying my summer without any worries of "can I take this in the TWW????" 😊

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope, since my 1st period back started today, I'm guessing my PCP will want to do a hormone test or something, need to call today!

Questions? So. First period after a MC. How bad is it going to be? I've read that it's heavier than normal, and more painful. My MC wasn't all that bad tbh. Like a 3-4 on the pain scale, and I didn't take anything, so now I'm worried the worst is yet to come 😬 I have super heavy periods anyway and I thought the MC bleeding was slightly worse than my heaviest day, so I just have this feeling it's gonna be brutal because I got off easy during the MC.

GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast? PANCAKES. UO over here this week apparently. Crepes are good too, but difficult to make yourself, esp gluten free, and even harder to find out in restaurants.

  • @pajamstagrams ehhhhh I don't think my first period post MC was any lighter or heavier in comparison to other cycles. I can't recall how my cramps were. Maybe a little worse than normal? *checks FF* interesting... I didn't even mark cramps that cycle. My flow seemed to be heavier for longer. Wish I had better answers for ya!

Better late than never on this thread lol...

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. loss at 8 weeks, Oct 2020

Status: TWW, but WTO starts this weekend

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? I'm better than I was last week. Currently I'm doubting every little thing I'm doing. Is this helping me? Is that thing hurting my chances? Etc etc. I think we all get the drill lol. I'm now currently of the mindset that I've been TOO good about being gluten and dairy free that I've over suppressed my immune system and so now it's not reacting at all for implantation.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? nope, nothing for me right now

Questions? I have a lot of probably rhetorical questions

GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast? French toast is my absolute favorite. Pancakes are a close second, but only when they're my mom's pancakes. I suck at making pancakes but do a good job making waffle batter (which is almost no different haha). Maybe it's a brand thing. My mom always uses Bisquick but I moved to the Aldi brand and those waffles came out the perfect texture. Maybe I need to buy that brand again and make the pancake batter and see how it goes. The Kodiak Cakes brand is also too runny for my desire too. Sorry long tangent :D Adding bacon and hash browns with my french toast is the best breakfast! Cereal for breakfast is also great since that's often the most times I have milk.

  • @inthewoods23 that's good to know maybe it won't be bad!

King Arthur has a good GF pancake mix, and I'm pretty sure it's DF as well, provided you use non dairy milk.

I'm sorry you're stuck in a 'doubting' cycle ❤️  FWIW (and I'm sure you know this) unless you're on immunosuppressants, I doubt you can suppress your immune system too much.
  • Hi all, I am tip-toeing in here because I don't really fit anywhere else yet. I know this is last week's but I don't want to start topping new threads since I'm just now re-introing.

@inthewoods23  Hi friend <3 I'm sorry you are struggling with the what-ifs. I think you should do what you feel is right for you right now, even if it's everything or nothing at all.

@pajamstagrams I think I'm asking the same question below, but with my early loss, I remember it being extraordinarily long but not necessarily heavier than usual. I spotted for months before things regulated again.

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. Currently in the midst of a CP loss. This is my 2nd, although my previous was about 15 years ago.

Status: WTO, waiting for the bleeding to stop.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Well, I am struggling with the unknown of what this CP loss will do to my hormones. I had one 15ish years ago and it followed with months of spotting non-stop. I knew what was happening at the time but I was so young I didn't think to see a doctor. Now I'm 8 days into this loss and I'm feeling a bit weary. I need to reach out to my old fertility naturopath to see if she can offer me some guidance.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nothing, although I probably need to be seen. Because of covid, I haven't had any sort of checkup since Fall 2019.

Questions? For those who have experienced CP loss, how long did your spotting, etc, last? Were you given any advice from a practitioner?

GTKY: What's your favorite breakfast? Pastries! I love a good carb load :)
  • @mamanbebe welcome, and I'm sorry you find yourself in this thread ❤️

So my period actually just wrapped up yesterday, pretty normal all things considered, so idk why I was worried lol. Maybe an extra day of light bleeding, but overall not heavier, and not really more crampy. Hopefully yours is short-ish as well!
  • @pajamstagrams I think King Arthur was the pancake mix I ended up buying. I'm sure it wl taste good, it's just getting that consistency right. I'm wondering if having a little dairy or gluten in the implantation window will help get my body to respond properly to accept the embryo. I had an ERA biopsy done and it showed my lining was receptive so I don't know if that makes my idea a moot point.

@mamanbebe there's so few of us posting here so sometimes this thread never gets created for the week. Your mentioning of pastries reminded me that cinnamon rolls are my absolute favor. How could I forget that for breakfast!
