R/R: my cold is getting worse. Going on almost 2 weeks, and now I'm feeling it in my ears, but thankfully no pain yet! Last time this happened I ended up with a double ear infection, so I'm pretty excited about my weekend prospects. At least I'm still benched so I don't need to worry about what meds I can take if it continues to gets worse!

CS/Q: well I guess I'm not having a short LP after all 🙃

@pajamstagrams 2 weeks?? Girl go get yourself from meds! Sometimes I can be real skimpy with the meds I buy, but when I finally bite the bullet and buy the good stuff, man does it make being sick so much better.

R/R: we're back up to almost 90 today. The only good thing about all this heat this early into June is that maybe the lakes will be not super cold when we go on vacation in a month. Bought a new swimsuit top yesterday! It's yellow/mustard in color. At least I hope it's more of a mustard/golden yellow color. Not that it matters since I always do black bottoms.

CS/Q: I finally realized my temps are on a downward trend the last couple days so I should stop being hopeful that my cheapies aren't working and will get a blazing BFP on a FRER lol. Every so often my temps do stay a bit elevated with the big drop happening the morning of CD1.

@inthewoods23 it's just not been bad enough to take anything! The first week and half was just drainage and a minor sore throat. More of a minor annoyance, more than anything. I suppose I could take Sudafed, but it keeps me up at night and dries me out too much, so I like to use that as a last resort when I'm totally miserable, and then at that point, I bust out the big guns (aka NyQuil) 😂

Let's hope it stays warm for you so you don't have freezing cold lakes! Also +1 for non matching swim suits. It makes buying suits so much easier especially if your top and bottom aren't the same size!

@pajamstagrams I get ya. It doesn't seem worth it for minor symptoms. It wasn't that long ago that I realized the different packaging stating regular strength/extra strength is just a marketing gimmick. When I bought Mucinex 2 winters ago, I realized that the extra strength has you take only 1 pill of (I think) 1200mg and the regular strength will tell you to take 2 pills of 600mg. So dosage is literally no different. It's just how fast you go through the product.

I kind of wanted to get one of those flounce/ruffle tops but they almost always came as a set. A lot of the reviews I was reading on Amazon would say the bottoms fit great but then the top would be too big so I decided to find a regular bikini top that my whole list of requirements. I cringed scrolling past all the tiny triangle bikinis and push up style tops. I like having the support, but I don't like looking like I'm just walking around with my bra on.
