    How are you feeling?: Getting super tired super easy, I did some very minor stuff in the basement yesterday and was exhausted afterwards. Also hot and humid here the past few days, but supposed to be a cooler week, which will be nice for camping this weekend.

    Rants/Raves: I don't really have any rants right now. DH and I had a great time at our little hotel getaway on Saturday and DS and MIL had a blast. I took Friday off since we are going camping so hoping this week flies by.

    Questions:

    @vampirina if your DH says yes, I suggest trying to find someone who works independently and not a company or service. I found our person through Care . com and she's been great.

    @aztecash, I feel you on your worry about how DS will do without fewer snuggles when the baby arrives. DD is such a mamas girl, and she ends up preferring me to carry her most places. I'm trying to get her to walk on her own more, knowing that a RCS is likely in my future, but I still give in a lot. Definitely concerned how she'll do with less attention and less of mommy carrying her once baby comes.

    @vampirina, if you figure out how to convince your husband to hire a maid, let me know the trick! 😂

    @gingermama46, so glad you and YH had a great getaway!

    @bcliffee1, girl, you are a superhero for parenting and pregnanting solo all week. I hope the next few months are relatively uneventful for you until your family is reunited after the move!

    @jtayl962, YES! Some days my bump feels tiny and other days it feels huge. So strange.

    How are you feeling?: like a balloon 

    Rants/Raves: I can no longer sleep throughout the night. It's either too hot or too cold or super uncomfortable. I wake up at least 6x. I have to take a nap during the day to catch up on my lost sleep. 

    Questions: Anyone know what I can do for the pubic symphisis pain? This whole weekend I was in pain and walking was such a hassle. Quite embarrassing actually since I was walking like an old lady with a cane.

    GTKY: Perfect marshmallow for me is from 2-4. Yummy!!

    How are you feeling?: Fine, as long as I don't drink too much water or take a pill on an empty stomach or eat the wrong thing, in which came I am barf city 😬

    Rants/Raves: my daughter is two as of yesterday! We didn't do anything big, but I think we celebrated her well. Also, I made an ice cream cake! Also, it's super hot outside and I just want to never be hot again, please get me out of here.

    Questions: 🤷🏼‍♀️

    GTKY: I'd eat any of them, but 4 looks real nice.

    Upcoming appointments: my next midwife appointment is this Thursday 6/17

    How are you feeling?: suuuuuuper emotional. I have cried a ridiculous amount of time the past week or two lol. I’m getting some leg cramps in the middle of the night now but only when I try to stretch out. I’m getting spells of exhaustion also. I would say overall though I’m feeling pretty good! 

    Rants/Raves: baby keeps kicking the crap out of my bladder and it’s slightly uncomfortable 😅 😂 Although it kind of seems every day now we’re having little pushing fights where she kicks me, I push back and it goes on like that for about 30 seconds. It’s cute having that interaction with her. 

    Rant, I woke up this morning with one side of my jaw in so much pain, like I had been grinding that side of my teeth or clenching last night in my sleep. I’ve never had this before! It’s still sore now even at almost 7p. Ouch 🤕

    Upcoming appointments: today! going back for a second anatomy scan bc they couldn't see the bowel or a major artery so I get to see him jumping around again! Also going to the midwife for my 24 week check up (obvi a little early but we are going on our babymoon next week!)

    How are you feeling?: Good! For some reason it feels like my bump is getting...smaller?! I have gained about 20lbs already lol but I think its mostly muscle bc I've been doing a lot of strength training/riding my Peloton, I don't feel bigger anywhere but my boobs, belly and hips ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Rants/Raves: 

    Rant: finances. that's it, that's the rant. 

    Rave: we are leaving for our babymoon on Saturday!!!! I hail from Michigan but currently live in WV so I am taking my husband to all my favorite northern Michigan spots that I grew up going to and he's never been so I am legit PUMPED. So excited. Not excited for 10 hours in the car - does anyone have any tips for sciatica relief in the car?! TIA!

    Questions:  anyone else's belly buttons total outies? i feel like an alien!!! 

    GTKY: Imma say between a 4 and a 5. I don't like it when the outside is melty and the inside is still hard, that is g-r-o-s-s.

    @madiirosee girl yes I so feel you on the leg pain!! I have been having almost a restless leg issue in my left leg before I go to bed?! I am gonna talk to my midwife about it today bc I think it's common during pregnancy but damn is it annoying and it hurts! ALSO I was going to post a rant about how many issues I'm having with my orthodontist and my 6 month TMJ treatment - jaw pain is NO JOKE. We are spending like $4K to get this issue fixed (I had lockjaw back around Christmas) and it feels like the jaw pain will never end! I recommend eating softer foods if you can, maybe some smoothies and take some Tylenol! Also icing it helps- I wish I could tell my brain to stop being stressed while I'm sleeping so I could stop grinding my teeth but alas here we are :D:D

    @gingermama46 Glad you had a nice getaway! There is no earthly way someone could get me to go camping right now. But I was never a camping enthusiast.

    @bcliffee1 SO decided to take the job, then? Good job holding down the fort during the week.

    @jtayl962 Yeah, I feel bigger at night for sure. Maybe it's general settling throughout the day? 😂

    @denise89_ I'm starting to not sleep great, too. I don't have to get up that many times (yet) but I have a harder time getting back to sleep once I'm awake. I had to kick my poor cat out of the bedroom to get some sleep. He likes to cuddle hard at night, and I just can't sleep like that anymore. 😢

    @galentine How far away do the in-laws live? Is 4 hours' notice "we're leaving the house now" or "we're halfway there"? The answer determines whether your husband gets any sympathy, lol.

    @pizzaplz Happy birthday to your daughter!

    @madiirosee Yeah, I get the jaw thing sometimes, too. I feel like it's getting worse maybe with the increased relaxin. Easier to accidentally hold in misalignment.

    @kateshepherd828 Enjoy the trip! No advice for a 10-hour car ride, though, except stop frequently? 🤷‍♀️

    Upcoming appointments: Tomorrow, for a follow up check on my mood disorder meds. Wondering if they'll keep my 24-week appt, too, or if this will be it until third trimester.
    How are you feeling?: I mean, really not bad. But definitely feeling foreshadowing of discomforts and indignities to come. I'm already testing the limits on how much fiber it is possible for a human to eat in order to stay regular.
    Rants/Raves: Rant -- Speaking of cleaners, ours decided on a career change. Good for her; I can't blame her for wanting a job with benefits. But I'm not looking forward to finding someone new. Rave -- My parents very kindly bought the crib we had on our registry. I got it put together on Saturday with minimal fuss and only a couple of assists from DH. I'll post a photo to the nursery thread once I get some sheets on it.
    Questions: Nothing really this week
    GTKY: 4 and 5 are worlds apart. Closer to 5 than 4, but that bottom is way too charred.

    @denise89_ They make support belts for SPD, but also see a chiropractor! I had to go twice a week last pregnancy.

    @kateshepherd828 omg 10 hours! 🥲🥲 definitely bring a pillow for support like maybe a boppy to sit on or a pillow for your lower back? I get sciatic pain also so I feel ya.

    @noprobalo, in-laws live about 4 hours away. So to give us 4 hours notice of a visit, they were likely all packed up and sitting in the driveway 🤦‍♀️ I vote no sympathy! H should have told them no!! 😂

    @gingermama46 I am so obsessed with bagels right now! I went to Panera this weekend and saw they're building a drive thru... exactly what I don't need because now I'll be getting alllllll the bagels. Usually having my kids in the car stops me because I don't want to unload them LOL 

    We are supposed to go camping this weekend too! But we're undecided because of weather. 

    @jtayl962 YES! My bump looks pretty mild on an empty stomach and then I look super pregnant in the afternoon and evening. I also feel like I'm working out every time I go up the stairs. I read recently that shortness of breath can be a symptom already and I'm there for sure! 

    @galentine "pregnanting" is going to be my new favorite word. LOL if DH asks me to do something and I'm sitting on the couch I'll say, sorry, I'm very busy pregnanting right now HAHA 

    I also have an anterior placenta which I've never experienced before. I didn't feel movement until 20 weeks, I feel it all the time now but it's definitely more "muted" than past pregnancies. I want the kids to be able to feel movement so badly! I hope that happens soon. 

    my MIL lives three hours away but precovid she'd be in town allll the time because she helped watch my niece and nephew a lot. She learned that if she texted me out of the blue, I don't respond until the chance of her showing up is gone. But if she lets me know like the week before that she's going to be in town, I'll gladly invite her over! But I am not going to run around cleaning up this hell hole like a mad woman just because she can't remember to text me in advance. 

    @kateshepherd828 YAY for your babymoon! that sounds so fun!! My husband has a lot of lower back pain and he has this massager type thing (it looks just like a little firm black pillow) he can bring in the car and put between his lower back and the seat. It vibrates and has heat. Maybe something like that would be helpful? We recently did a long-ish drive. Our driver and passenger seats also have a button where a lumbar support can sort of stick out and then go back in. I used that a lot on the trip and it helped when my lower back was just achey and unsettled and restless from the long drive. 

    Also... I made a smore.... on my stovetop... just now. It was amazing.
