Chef Mickey’s for breakfast with everyone I love, then we all go to Magic Kingdom and it’s somehow not busy at all. We stay until the fireworks and no children are overtired or whiny because of the *~mAgIc~*.
@doodleoodle ooooh I had my day all mapped out but then that really threw me!
I’ll stick with my original thought for now: wake up at some sort of beach resort, lovely breakfast, spend the day at the beach, really nice dinner with family, and then having a rager of a night with friends
I may have mentioned this before but my first was due 5 days before my birthday. When I'd tell people this, they'd say excitedly, "Oh! Maybe you'll share a birthday!" and while I don't mind sharing a birthday with my child, spending my birthday in the hospital is a big "no, thank you." I'd always respond "My birthday wish is to be home with my baby" (as opposed to being over 40 weeks pregnant or in the hospital giving birth/recovering). DS was born 12 days early, so even with my extended hospital stay due to an unplanned c-section, I got my birthday wish. I don't think I DID much that day, but it was hands down the best birthday gift ever and as lovely as so many other birthday plans sound, nothing is going to top being home, snuggling my newborn for me.
My due date is 17th November and my birthday is 11th November, so if babe is early then it looks like a hospital birthday for me, if not I'm gonna be hella pregnant. I'm personally a fan of keeping my birthday as mine, baby has got plenty of other days to choose from 🤣
For what its worth, I share a bday w my mom. She shares one with her brother (so my uncle) and he shares one with his daughter (my cousin)! I've never known different and actually love it! Kinda bummed I never had a bday baby to keep it going...but not SO bummed that we would go for a 5th 🤪
Re: GTKY - Ideal Birthday Plans
Due: 6 Nov 2021
Getting to have a nice calm birthday at home with a German chocolate cheesecake and some delicious takeout, cuddled up with my family sounds perfect.
