WTF to my neighbor with an arrest warrant for them yesterday afternoon😬 heard the police calling for them to come out of the house, etc. over and over and over. I want to know what it was for! I've already forgotten their last name so I can't go look it up. And I'm guessing they eventually came out peacefully because I didn't hear any signs of escalation, (no shouts, gunshots, etc) thankfully. Hopefully everyone involved is ok.
@pajamstagrams holy crap! Are you able to look up property owners on your county real estate assessment website. Otherwise I’ve found searching an address on whitepages to be helpful.
@bows22 hmmm maybe! Might have better luck just searching for arrest warrants though...that's all public info I think? Or maybe only if you're convicted...🤔
ugh, wtf solicitors. We have a "No Soliciting" sign at the front of our neighborhood, but we get them so. freaking. often. Saturday night we had one at our door at 9:30 PM. Yesterday, we had one go into our garage (the garage door had been open, as DH was in and out of the garage doing some work in there) and knock on the door in our garage. DH went around and told him to get the hell our of our garage and off our property, the guy claimed he was trying to "raise money for high school kids" but looked like some kind of a druggie, wheeling around a beat-up bike.

time). He couldn’t run fast enough. But the “high schooler” with the flyer I
have seen before. It’s a very common tactic. There’s a bulletin board right
outside the light rail station by my work. I’ve seen them literally take flyers
down before and go up to people and ask for money showing them the flyers, claiming
it’s for high school kids. It’s disgusting.

@awello I stopped answering the door unless I see it's FedEx or UPS and I know I need to sign (for 🍷). The solicitors get really aggressive and rude when you refuse to buy their magazines, candy bars, etc, and I think a lot of them are caught up in a larger scam.
I would be soooo pissed at 9:30 pm, that's bedtime! And coming in my garage? Hell no. Even the delivery guys won't come in my garage when I'm working out and they stop by. They just awkwardly set the package right at the entrance 😂
Doing surveys for money online, just had one that described the menstrual system in detail and then at the end had me select if I was expecting a period in the next XX time period.
Now it's a survey titled "FOR CHILDLESS ADULTS ONLY".
