    Any questions?
I think if the OB and the NaPro can’t help or don’t work we are going to do embryo adoption. Am I still okay to be on the TTC board? I would be doing FET they just would be our bio child.

    Rant/Rave?
I just need to vent - my husband is so sweet and so supportive but I just feel so guilty about being the infertility problem. Especially because there is very little anyone can even do to help. The REs won’t do anything at all other than egg donor or embryo donor. The OBGYN said that she’s willing to try a few things even though statistically the odds aren’t great- but they are better than not trying at all and she thinks I have a better chance because I have 2 kids already. The NaPro I really don’t know I just got their number from some random person on Facebook with a similar diagnosis and she swore by it working. I honestly just want to jump to embryo adoption because genetics aren’t that important to me and I feel like this is stressful. I know my husband wants to try a few things first though because “he wants a little daisy” which is sweet but makes me sad too.

GTKY: what are you looking forward to doing with your kid(s) this summer?
Oh I just love summer with the kids! I’m probably most looking forward to all the family get togethers so they can play with their cousins again! My oldest missed that so much last summer

I'm sorry your cycle is so weird, its frustrating to not understand what your body is doing.

Please don't feel guilty about infertility, it's absolutely NOT your fault! And of course, you are still welcome here, no matter what path you choose. ❤️

Your summer plans sound like mine, with lots of cousin time! I'm very thankful our family lives close together.

Any thoughts about this cycle? V. Happy to be in the TWW! Super eager to get my period (🤪) since that brings me closer to being un-benched.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? DD had croup over the weekend, so that was fun. Finally caught it after it's been going around for a month. She's finally back at daycare today 🙌🙌

Also: DH wants to PT her this weekend. It's going to be a disaster. 🥴

GTKY: what are you looking forward to doing with your kid(s) this summer?  The beach! DD will NOT stop talking about going to the beach, so I keep telling her she has to wait, so I heard "we going to the beach? We have to wait? Okaaayy" about 20000 times yesterday 😂 we also asked if she was excited about going with her cousin and she said "no". 🤷‍♀️ Too bad kid, they're coming! (She'll be so excited though, despite what she says now haha)
  • @pajamstagrams thank you💕  I think I worry too about adopting an embryo because I don’t want them to feel like we love them any differently and we had always said (when we found out it was hard for me to get pregnant) that if we adopted we should consider doing two so that they didn’t feel like they were alone in their experience. But now we have two kids and four would just be so expensive I’m not sure we could comfortably swing it and still send them to private school, go in vacations, etc just life experiences we want to give them.   That’s so cute you DD is excited! My boys are so chill about everything I wish they’d get a little more pumped because that’s how I am too 😂 What method are you thinking for potty training? We did the Oh Crap method and it was great.
  • @daisy0322 we're doing the method where I ply my kid with juice and let her go naked all weekend 😂 we have no real plan tbh. I've read very little on this, other than that a lot of people say you just gotta go naked all weekend and sit on the potty like every 15 min. I don't anticipate it going well, so I fully expect her to be back in diapers Monday. I also need to check with daycare to see how they are handling PT'd kids.

DH really wants to do it now, I don't think she's ready, but I'm losing my Fridays off soon so it would be good to take advantage (aka ruin) my last couple days 😂.
  • @daisy0322 Your DX is early menopause, right? I don’t know much about it but I’m sure if you have questions about the treatment options your OB is purposing the ladies on the IF board could probably help. What are the things your OB is willing to try? Are you still BFing? I know how frustrating IF can be, but don’t give up on your body quite yet! The fact that you have 2 little boys is a great sign.

@pajamstagrams Yay for being closer to your next cycle!! I’m so sorry your LO got croup this past weekend. Croup and strep were going around my son’s daycare a couple weeks ago. He ended up getting strep and a double ear infection. No fun! I hope your daughter is on the mend!

    Any thoughts about this cycle?
Last cycle was a mind F***. I probably should have taken the cycle off. But I was too eager to try again. Especially since our increased odds of conceiving. I’ll definitely be going in to get my blood drawn this week. I need to make sure it is back to zero.

    Any questions?

    Rant/Rave?
We went and looked at a house for sale over the weekend. I was all ready to sign papers before we got there. It was in a beautiful town. But the house itself did not give me the right vibes. Besides, we likely wouldn’t have won the bidding war on it. So after months of waffling on “should we go or should we stay” I think I’ve finally settled on staying put. We even have plans to do an addition once lumber prices come back down (if they ever come back down). I’ve been dreaming about our new master bedroom and en suite! lol

GTKY: what are you looking forward to doing with your kid(s) this summer?
We go camping basically every other weekend during the summer. We’ve had a slower start to this summer since MH’s schedule was changed at the last minute so we couldn’t get things booked on time. I’m looking forward to boating and fishing and doing some short hikes with DS!

@daisy0322 I’m really sorry about the cycle. Not sure I am understanding the jump from this to embryo adoption but I think you should do whatever you and your doctor are comfortable with! And please don’t blame yourself. Shi*ty genetics maybe but infertility is never anyone’s fault. You are always more than welcome here no matter what the ttc situation!

@pajamstagrams it’s so weird wanting your period to come! Hopefully it comes quickly and you can get unbenched. Sorry to hear Yd was sick! Glad she’s doing better! It’s very far away for us but I dread the day we start PT- good luck!

Any thoughts about this cycle? Cautiously hopeful since our timing was good and there was a clear temp shift. However things have been “perfect” in the past with no pregnancy so I’m tempering my expectations.

    Any questions? Not really!

Rant/Rave? I feel like our house is falling apart lol. It’s not really but it feels like a money pit. I am really busy this week + next for work because I’m covering for a coworker, so blah. DD was sick last week into the weekend but is better now, thank goodness! Now my throat feels scratchy 😆 I guess it’s inevitable

GTKY: what are you looking forward to doing with your kid(s) this summer? We are going to Florida in a couple weeks and I’m really excited to see what she does on the beach (although I’m scared of the flight with her- first flight). And hopefully we can play a lot in the pool this summer, she seems to like water!

@daisy0322 I just read this thread and saw the answer to my question from the IF thread haha. Since my next question is more appropriate here, at what point did you see the REs? Like was it prior to your 2nd kid and they don’t realize that you got pregnant on your own? (Twice I think?) It just doesn’t make sense to me that they couldn’t do a medicated cycle, monitor to see if you had follicles, and then trigger ovulation. Is that what your OB wants to do?
  • @b_1029 good luck with the flight! We flew internationally with DD when she was 1, and for the most part, she did really well. The last leg home from Europe was an absolute disaster because of the time change over bedtime, but the other 3 flights were pretty easy.

Thankfully YD won't have to wear a mask so you don't have that headache. Just the normal antsy toddler problems 😂

@LJMoon6 sorry that your last cycle was so sh*tty. hopefully your blood test can provide clarity/closure as needed. Definitely understand wanting to try again soon, that's why I'm so eager for my period lol.
  • b_1029b_1029 member
@LJMoon6 sorry about your last cycle :(
  • @b_1029 the jump is because i was told before my last baby it was basically my only option and i have a 3% chance of getting pregnant on my own I asked to do IVF and they told me no already (6 of them to be specific)  ...so if the alternative medicine doesn’t work it’s what we’re going with. It probably sounds like a jump here but we had already decided on it a few years ago. Oh the beach will be fun! I flew with DS 1 around that age to FL it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. My advice is that 1 week before the trip pack up a few favorite toys for the plane so they are “new again” but DS was just so excited waving to people and looking out the window 2 hours went quick. I do t know if your still nursing or ever did (sorry) but I did nurse for take off and landing and we had no ear popping issues.

@LJMoon6 so yes that’s another name for it but it’s not accurate because it’s not actually menopause they just thought it was until a few years ago. I and still BF once every other day because We are both having a hard time letting go but it needs to happen. Not sure what the doctors have in mind quite yet I think biomatch hormone replacement therapy if I had to guess it has a 32% success rate for 3 months for people with. My Dx and that’s probably my best chance after that every thing is admittedly an experiment and some doctors are comfortable trying or think it’s a waste of time. That’s cool you enjoy camping! We took the kids last summer they loved it but I’m not a camper lol did you go last summer with LO? How did they enjoy it then?
  • b_1029b_1029 member
@daisy0322 gotcha, that makes more sense to me then. I am not good about keeping up with people’s history and didn’t reLize you had already discussed this previously with your doctor. We are not nursing- I just stopped pumping a few weeks ago- but will be prepared with bottles! She loves people watching so I’m sure that will keep her occupied for a bit, but I’m worried because she’s now at the age where she constantly wants to be on the ground and moving around (she just started crawling a couple weeks ago). Hopefully she isn’t too hard on me 😅
  • @daisy0322 I definitely think embryo adoption is a reasonable alternative. But if YH isn’t there yet and he wants to keep trying other option, I think you would probably have a pretty good shot! Those numbers don’t sound too bad at all. To give you an idea, when I was DX unexplained IF they gave us a 2% chance of conceiving on our own. Then, with IUI, it was only a 10% chance. 32% success rate is actually really good! I think, naturally for a couple trying on their own, without known IF issues, they have a 20% chance every month. So 32% is better than that! Plus (and I know people keep bringing this up, but it’s a big part of the puzzle) with your other 2 successful pregnancies, your chances of success are even better! All that to say, don’t give up on your body just yet! I know you’ve been through a lot with different doctors and you’re currently going through a weird cycle, but just don’t give up yet! I think going to the NaPro will be good too! I’ve heard great things about naturopathic medicine too in treating IF.

I couldn’t do tent camping at this point anymore. I really just like having something to do on the weekends. And I enjoy camping with family. It’s definitely a social activity.

@kgg2241 yes she started army crawling probably 2 weeks ago and started crawling (sometimes) up on her knees several days later. It’s cute in the mornings when DH and I are racing around getting ready fir work and daycare and she just screeches and scoots herself around following us. I’m sorry you’re feeling bummed about the age gap slipping away. Totally understandable.
  • @kgg2241 thanks i think I have an idea of what to say next time now. Awe that’s so sweet she’s counting! These kids are always learning. I stay at home with my kiddos and my 3 year old is teaching himself to pre reading (he has a moderate speech delay though so he’s hard to understand) trust me I never taught him it either 😂 and he knows numbers up to 100 somehow. I think we teach them more than we realize
  • What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle? 3

WAYDTGKU: PNV, Mira, Proov, Mosie, Vit D, HIO, anti-inflammatory diet (just started that this week)

    WTO/TWW? WTO

Ages of other child(ren)? 11 months this week

Any thoughts about this cycle? Not yet, it’ll be our first time using Mosie. Next week is my FW and DH is going to be working all during my most fertile days so I’m glad we’re trying Mosie. It’ll take the pressure off.

    Any questions? Not really

Rant/Rave? Just my pricey tree business in WTO thread. A kid-centered rave is that our son took a couple unassisted steps yesterday! Yikes!

GTKY: what are you looking forward to doing with your kid(s) this summer? We live less than a mile from a beautiful lake with a beach, playground, restaurant that sells fish tacos and beer. It’s idyllic and we’re basically going to live there every weekend.

@b_1029 all the fingers crossed for you this cycle!

@daisy0322 I’m sorry about the super confusing/frustrating cycle. I hope developing a plan for next steps helps you feel empowered.

@LJMoon6 DH and I have been talking about buying a used camper. What do you have? We may try and rent one for a weekend this summer just to get some ideas.
  • @kgg2241 definitely understand how you feel on the age gap. I think it's hard to achieve the 'ideal' gap, whatever that may be for someone.

    @rachelredhead yay for steps! 👏
  • @rachelredhead We have a travel trailer that’s just about 27ft long. It has bunk beds lol. It’s a Coachmen. Here’s the layout:

    https://coachmenrv.com/travel-trailers/apex-ultra-lite/245BHS/3164

I like it. But I do wish we would have gotten one with double slide outs. But that makes it much heavier and harder to pull. I also wish we had actual seating, like lounge seating. We never use our table. We actually took it out and that’s where DS’s pack and play is lol. But if I could change out the table area for a couch I probably would. Once we’re done with the pack and play we’ll probably just leave it as a permanent bed area. But this one gave us everything we wanted for a decent price. What kind are you thinking about getting?

    WAYDTGKU: bbt/Opk/fertility tea

    WTO/TWW? WTO

    Ages of other child(ren)?
Almost 3 and 5- both boys.

    Any thoughts about this cycle?
Cautiously optimistic, we conceived #2 the first cycle trying. Took 9 months to conceive #1. But now I have a luteal phase defect so I’m also thinking that will impact things.

Any questions? I’ve asked in a couple different places but if anyone has experience with a luteal phase defect (7-9 day luteal phase 🙄) and wants to talk about it....?

Rant/Rave? My 5 year old has been waking up in the middle of the night and putting the tv on in the livingroom. He keeps telling me something is shaking his bed or he’s seeing things in his closet. I think he’s sensitive but I also don’t think he’s seeing or feeling anything. Not entirely sure how to handle this.... should I just hide the remotes? Lol.

GTKY: what are you looking forward to doing with your kid(s) this summer? We can’t wait for the splash pad to open! We have Jellystone booked for august so we’re all really looking forward to that! And just all the other camping well do!

@daisy0322 your husband sounds so sweet. My husband wants a little girl too (assuming that’s what little daisy means?) and I just already know #3 will be a boy because we would both prefer a girl. Not that it matters obviously. Also, definitely looking forward to get togethers! Last year was a tough year for the kids and adults alike!

@pajamstagrams croup is the worst!!! My oldest gets it every year despite never being in daycare or school yet. I glad your little is feeling better!!

@ljmoon6 the housing market right now just makes me want to cry. It’s just definitely a sellers market which does not help us at all. We’re lucky (🤔😑) enough to live above mil right now so we’re not in any hurry and can hopefully wait it out.... but like also with a-potential-nother baby, we’re very short on space. Camping is totally our favorite as well! There’s nothing like watching your babes explore nature!

@b_1029 I hope your dd has such a fun time in FL. She’s at such a fun age right now!! My second was 9/10 months for his first (longgg) flight and did pretty well. I think they surprise you. Pinterest has a TON of idea for keeping them happy and entertained.

@kgg2241 my boys are 2.5 years apart and I honestly think it would have been easier if my #1 was a little younger or older. Obviously ages work differently for different kids and family’s, but #1 hit terrible 2’s like a month before #2 was born and it was pretty tough for a couple months. I still hope it happens soon for you! Your dd is at such a fun age now, I hope you guys have a great summer at the lake!

@rachelredhead that lake, and beer and fish tacos, sounds like a great way to spend your summer!!
@ljmoon & @rachelredhead We have a camper too!! It’s a Prime Time Avenger. I hate it. I actually love it when it’s not moving but moving, parking, anything else, gives me extreme anxiety. Anyone else?!?! It’s way too big. 33ft from hitch to bumper. It is our first camper so I’m like, hey let’s get something big we can grow into! Seemed like a good plan.... but literally moving it will be the death of me. We have full sized bunks and a slide, and we have tons of room.

  • @rachelredhead this is our layout. 100% love the outdoor kitchen! I see what @ljmoon was saying about a lack of seating. Without the couch that would be tough.

Any thoughts about this cycle? welp, nice of AF and a cold to show up. needless to say i'm a total grouch.

    Any questions? nada

Rant/Rave? see about re AF and a cold. lol. my mom did steal DD yesterday to take her down to the beach, MH and i will head down friday. so 2.5 childfree days are lovely. we were looking forward to a date night tonight, but i barely crawled out of bed at noon.

GTKY: what are you looking forward to doing with your kid(s) this summer? really excited to take her to the beach and see how she feels about the ocean compared to last year.

@daisy0322 i'm so sorry, that's a lot to process. i know you said you're near the mason dixon line, have you thought about reaching out to Hopkins or Shady Grove fertility? also please don't feel like you can't stay here!
@pajamstagrams they're so funny sometimes when they don't even realize what they are saying no to. like kid, you don't wanna go to the beach solo trust me, you want your cousins!
@LJMoon6 i fantasize about an addition with a new primary bedroom, walk in close and ensuite bath regularly. our bathroom is a postage stamp (downside of old houses!)
@b_1029 oooh you'll have to relay how the flight goes! we should've had 2 w/DD last year if covid hadn't happened. i started looking at planning something but truthfully i'm feeling very selfish right now and would just like to go somewhere with MH only.
@kgg2241 it's time for the number of the day! lol vi can relate with the age gap, i originally wanted super close but covid really did a mindf*** on that plan tbh.
@rachelredhead ah walking is so exciting! but then comes the chaos... lol
  • @anniemarie887 the NaPro I talked to sounds really hopeful - at least the nurse does and he is supposedly one of the best in the area. Worst case we will adopt an embryo and to be honest I actually am looking forward to that if it’s the path God takes us. I have bad days but mainly because I feel sorry for myself. Our friends and family and at mass legit it feels like everyone has at least 5 kids and they are all adorable little stair steps. I always imagined that for myself and assumed that I would get it too. But most days I actually do realize I’m very lucky to have my boys I could very well have another because they don’t know why I’ve gotten pregnant 4 times and embryo adoption FET would have a high success rate for me. Also, we get to do and have a lot of things my friends with more kids can’t and it’s a blessing in a different way. (Sorry to get super religious I try not to on here because most people aren’t I think? But it comes up a lot talking about IF).

@paytonpedro haha yes that’s what little daisy means 😂 I just don’t out my real name on here. My husband really is the sweetest man!  What’s jelly stone? Where is that?

@rachelredhead so that lake sounds fantastic I’m a little jealous!

  • @daisy0322 totally get that! They’re campgrounds that are yogi bear themed! Super fun for kids and adults alike. Not quite “camping” in a traditional rustic sense, definitely more glamping. I *think* they’re all over the US and Canada, I know there’s 3-4 in close enough proximity to me that we would have a choice.

  • @paytonpedro omg! There’s one not that far away that is so cool, thank you for sharing 💕
  • @daisy0322 well that's exciting! absolutely no need to apologize for your beliefs! i personally am not religious, but have friends who are. also, i come from a very blended family, and actually so are some of my in laws with divorces and half siblings and adoptions - my point to make is that the dna aspect doesn't matter to us, they're all just siblings without any other delineation.
  • @anniemarie887 I love that ❤️ Genetics isn’t what makes a family- love, acceptance, and relationships do! I think the world is getting better about that too in general.  My extended family has some blended in members and truthfully  I forget- it never comes up and none of us ever think about it.

@paytonpedro so funny that you posted that, we are going to one tonight! It’s not super close but I just wanted to start off with one night to make sure DD doesn’t hate it. We’re really excited so hopefully she doesn’t!
  • @bows22 I hope you guys have so much fun!!!
