Re: TWW Monday 6.7

  • Month/Cycle: 4/2

    CD/DPO: 52/? I think I maybe Od on CD39?

    Timing: ?

    Typical LP length: ?

    Testing: ?

R/R: frustrated with my cycle, and frustrated that it’s pouring rain out today. I need to get groceries today. We had a great weekend though. We went down to visit my mother in law and DHs grandma and we took them out to lunch. I got a pedicure and manicure. And yesterday after church we went to the pool all day.

CS/Q: i clearly don’t know what’s going on any more... I think I Od at some point. TW**** my first cycle AL was kind of oddly short now this is the second one and it’s never ending. It was a really early lost around 5 weeks I think. But maybe between that and being sick 3 separate times this cycles it could have still messed things up. ***** end tw

  • @daisy0322 hmm that is incredibly strange! CD39 seems doubtful to me since your temps started trending downward so soon on CD41. If AF doesn't show up in the next couple days I would definitely check in with your doctor.

    Month/Cycle: 48/7 AL bleh

    CD/DPO: 16/2

Timing: -5 (ha), -1, 0, +1 (right before bed last night so doubtful this is helpful in any way)

    Typical LP length: 13 days

Testing: shucks I haven't even thought about what day that would be. I guess next week Tuesday at the earliest? I might test super early just to get a negative out of my system.

R/R: it was hot AF this weekend and we didn't turn the A/C on until yesterday. I don't think DH ever recovered from going up into our attic to retrieve some fans that we had put up there when we had the ice dam issue a couple months ago. They've just been sitting up there since. Last year we made it to July 1st before putting the A/C on but with it being in the 80s for a week straight I don't think DH could deal with the humidity. Even with the windows cracked open overnight on Saturday didn't cool the house down (overnight lows were in the 60s). My cat turned 9 yesterday so I made cake :D

  • @inthewoods23 I keep feeling like AF going to start any second like actually in pain so I’m hoping it’s soon. I love hot weather 😅 you Hubby would hate me I rarely use the AC until it’s gets over 80 in the house. Tell me more about this ice dam?
  • @daisy0322 we always have a warm house in the summer. I think the lowest we ever set the thermostat is 74. Right now it's set to 80 because it got to 83/84 depending on which thermostat you were looking at. We basically just use our A/C to remove the humidity. Any time I hear someone say they set their A/C to 66 I ask what TF is wrong with you? Sounds so freaking cold!

    Month/Cycle: 7/6
    CD/DPO: 26
Timing: honestly, no clue, ntnp this month and next due to travel
    Typical LP length: 14ish
    Testing: doubtful
R/R: had the best girls weekend, totally indulged in food and booze. not nearly enough sleep, but such a great time and it was a well needed break. i am absolutely so tired, and in a fog today as a result. i did manage to unpack my toothbrush and do 3 loads of laundry yesterday when i got home, and we did 2 hours at the community pool. so i'm going to my pat myself on my back for my accomplishments. lol also eta: the cicadas are so plentiful you just crunch, crunch everywhere you walk. i downloaded a decibel reader - 89!!!!
    CS/Q: nada

@daisy0322 i'm sorry your chart/temp are so confusing. dare i say rain sounds nice, its been 90 here for the last few days.
@inthewoods23 i try to hold out as long as possible re the AC, but will also break down and turn in on for say 48 hrs in hopes to turn it back off. fickle mid atlantic weather. 66 is an ice cube... and also like expensive! we live at 74* for AC and like 66* for heat. i can handle bundling up to keep warm better than the humidity.
  • @anniemarie887 thanks my OPKs are getting darker again too. I’m ready to throw out the whole box. 90 is MY WEATHER I love it. So glad you had a good girls trip! That sounds wonderful. The cicadas are awful here too- I hear they are suppose to peak this week then start dying off

@Daisy0322 ugh I’m sorry your cycle is still going on. Sounds like a fun weekend at least!

@inthewoods23 I love that you all had a bday celebration for your cat! The humidity is the worst part, I could handle the house being a little warmer if it didn’t feel like a swamp. We used to set our AC that low in our old house so that the upstairs would cool down to like 75 😆

@anniemarie887 I should download one so we can compare cicadas lol. I wonder if we are in the same place. I’m glad you had fun this weekend! Sounds amazing, and I hate that as adult you need like a week to recover from vacation haha

    Month/Cycle: 3

    CD/DPO: 16/?

Timing: good either way I think

    Typical LP length: around 14

    Testing: probably next Friday?

R/R: we are going on vacation on the 19th and I just realized there are approximately 1 million things I need to get and figure out. Online shopping and trip planning is way more fun than work anyway. We had a pretty good weekend- my mom came to visit and didn’t totally drive me insane, and we went to lunch yesterday for DH’s grandma’s birthday. She isn’t doing super well and I think she was just so happy we all came to celebrate.
CS/Q: when do you think I ovulated 😆 I had a temp jump on CD 14 but then it went back down, and today’s shift was much higher. I am so, so bad at this. I also had nearly debilitating O pain on CD 13, later at night.

edit to fix formatting and now I’m stuck in the box.
  • @daisy0322 oof i wish it was the same here, brood x lives for a month. so they should be gone by 4th of july... why did i think you were somewhere on the west?
@b_1029 maybe?!!? i'm in maryland. what's wild is that we were at the beach and they are just like not there.
  • b_1029b_1029 member
@anniemarie887 ah shoot you aren’t the one in Ky, I couldn’t remember if it was you or @abjm0325. I knew it was one of the A’s. Never mind :) it’s crazy how concentrated they are. My friend lives like 3-4 miles from me and said she has seen like 2. Meanwhile we have a swarm in our area.
  • yup @b_1029 and now they're so plentiful you like can't avoid them landing on your when you're outside..... grossssssssssssss

@anniemarie887 I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned where I live. We’re on the mason dixon basically. Depends who you ask if we are part of the south. Hubby has a southern accent I only have a very slight one. My husbands family is more southern mine is more Appalachian

@b_1029 my guess is day 13!
  • bows22bows22 member
@b_1029 I also think day 13 with one hell of a fallback rise!
  • b_1029b_1029 member
@daisy0322 @bows22 thanks! I was thinking 13 as well. I’ve never had a fallback rise at least not that I remember but I’ve probably only temped 10 or so cycles.
  • @anniemarie887 89dB??? that's crazy!!

@b_1029 yeah currently it's like 77 upstairs but 68 down in our basement. It's hilarious for me to be upstairs feeling hot from the humidity while DH is downstairs in the basement on his computer all day during the weekends. He's all nice and comfortable while I'm uncomfortable  I'm really curious if FF is going to give you CH tomorrow. CD13 makes the most sense based on OPKs. But I think I did have 1 cycle where it said O was like 3 days after my peak OPK :expressionless:

  • @inthewoods23 I think I would take the 77, I hate being cold. Our house is frigid right now, the AC repairman just left and needed it running full blast while he was here. A balmy 67 degrees. DH won't stand for that for long. He's is both equal parts cheap and easily overheated. Watching him mentally wrestle with turning the AC on is a great evening past time of mine.

    Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO: 35/12

    Timing: -3,-2,-1,0

    Typical LP Length: ?

Testing: probably not, pretty sure AF is coming in hot

R/R: our 3 year anniversary is this Wednesday. Planning to go walk around a cute town on the water and get dinner at a winery. Rant is that its supposed to rain that day 😡

CS/Q: I do have a general question in regards to temping, any opinions/insight welcome....I previously tried temping and got absolutely no where. I had irregular periods and couldn't make out any rhyme or reason. I seem to now be on a more regular cycle, 35-40 days but I sleep like crap. I've read that inconsistent sleep messes with the temp results so is it even worth doing? I toss and turn from pretty much 4 AM on...

@gardenvariety88 if you’re constantly waking up around 4, maybe you could just temp then? Once I wake up in the MOTN I tend to roll around too, so if it’s within a few hours of me having to get up I’ll just temp and convert it.

ETA @anniemarie887 I was curious about the cicadas so I downloaded an app and the highest I saw was 88 decibels! Insane!
