I am going to attempt to take a picture of my daughter with a big sister shirt this weekend for when we announce, but I’m not feeling too optimistic because she’s not quite 2 y/o haha. My backup plan is an Etsy template that I can edit!
I would love to see what others have done/are doing!!
Told our daughters & extended family tonight. DD1 was very excited, DD2 cried when we told her she wasn’t going to be the baby anymore. It was hilarious & I’m so glad we recorded it.
We have family pictures Sunday (hopefully, they've already been rescheduled twice due to weather) and we're going to hold a gold foil balloon that says "baby" in cursive. That's how we'll announce to extended family/facebook. Our parents already know and we told bil and sil this last weekend since we saw them in person.

@rgn12 😹 your post made me think of a friend’s post I saw yesterday where she gave each of her kids a cupcake filled with colored frosting to announce the gender and her youngest dropped it and the rest of video was her daughter crying that she didn’t have a cupcake lol.
We were supposed to take family photos on the beach and squeeze in an announcement photo, but right before our photos my youngest sliced his big toe open and we had to rush him to urgent care, so we improvised and this was our announcement:
@eggsbene42 is your daughter the youngest? I can imagine she will enjoy being able to take care and hold a little brother too. I thought maybe she was hoping for another girl to help her side against the boys hehe.
Our family & close friends knew. We just shared with our social media world this week. This is the year of the babies! I know at least 8 other women that are expecting too between September-December!
We just posted this video to announce on social media! (converted to gif to upload)
This was an ode to our original reveal with our daughter which is below. We go offroading in my husbands Jeep so we wanted to incorporate that into our reveals!
